Yes! Unfortunately, when your friends see you as the "rich" one almost none of them gift you. Maybe because they think your taste is too expensive or that you don't need anybody gifting anything to you. (Which is totally wrong!) I am not RICH, however I'm a higher middle class (if that makes sense lol) and my closest friends were broke due to college and only having part times. I noticed they bought gifts for each other and they tried to hide it from me! Eventually I discovered it. It's not an obligation to gift your friend, but if you do it with the rest and purposely exclude a certain person because you think she doesn't "need" anything, it's truly evil and premeditated. I took them for rides in my car anywhere they wanted to go, payed for everyone's food and bought them stuff I thought they would like. I did it from the heart, without expecting anything back. However a detail is always appreciated in a friendship, cheap or expensive.
