What I think happened to the emotional issue employee: While he was stocking the shelves, he found the thing you thing you just had to encounter, it wasn’t the same one though. He was chased until he dodged it getting it stuck in the furnace. The flesh of it burned and it turned into mush and organs. He just witnessed something horrible. He tried telling the employees but they didn’t believe him. He was put in the corner so he couldn’t do anything. He then found a fire axe then realized there was only one way out. He put up the fire axe, then he dropped it on his chest. He then died, leaving his corpse on the pillar. They had to hide the evidence so they made the fake story about him making something. So they threw the body in the furnace deleting the evidence. That is just my theory…
