By copying Britain they have what we have now, unhealthy ghettos. These buildings were built to enslave and monitor people. Humanity needs to do undo these monstrosities. I can't even imagine how much asbestos there is in them. Here in the UK they are commonly called estates, it's so easy for gangs to take hold and choke entire local population because such architecture allows them to do exactly that.

Brutalist/Brutalism is actually making a sort of revival and there is quite a interesting and even beautiful aspect to it if one explores it in more depth. What you videoed was quite interesting and enjoyed watching. The genre encompassed music concrete; jewelry, furniture , art, etc. . Yes it did start in the UK with the 'Independent Group' back in the 50's and like the Baroque Period pretty much spread across the continent. The design was to accommodate the housing problem . People are were its at . If they mark it all up with graffiti, sell drugs, and abandon tradition then the building collapses with it.
