Create Dev Vlog I just ride my site recently as well. I ended up using a template instead and I just added links to my projects on Github that way. Keep it up!

Awesome devlog! Really enjoyed it. Motivated me to get off KZbin and work on my projects. Keep it up and good luck with job searching! Things might look a bit worse these days, but your hard work will pay off! Good recruiters take into consideration how you approach solving problems and from the video I can tell you push forward and don’t give up when something gets in your way, amazing work!

Thanks so much for dropping by the vid! Makes me happy to hear you got up to work on your own projects. Keep it up 🔥

when you brought up CRA i instantly got nightmares...

You don't love have 90% of your dependencies being irrelevant??
@jawyor-k3t6 ай бұрын
@@markbacon78 nowadays everyone uses Vite and for good reasons. I suggest you move to more modern build tools. CRA is dead, no new docs suggest it.

Assuming you're referring to my VSCode theme- Panda Theme! marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=tinkertrain.theme-panda Closest I could really get to my favorite when I used IntelliJ (plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/12995-trash-panda-theme)

that website desperately needs line-height: 1.3 and semantic HTML.
@markbacon786 ай бұрын
Agreed on the line height, and someone else mentioned semantic HTML with regard to accessibility- same reasoning here or something else?
@jawyor-k3t6 ай бұрын
@@markbacon78 Yes, accessibility, but also another developer might work with you and seeing the sea of spans is a huge pain for maintainability. Some html tags also come with default styling that might be handy.

i understand why y'all get laid off. CRA for only this and all this over engineering things , it's an aberration

This was a quick project to just get something up to speed lmao, and all the CloudFlare stuff was for learning- not everything needs to be taken so seriously. If you have actual constructive feedback, I’m all ears!
