People choose current gen because of familiarity and dont want the way they play their game to adjust to the next gen gameplay. Not because current is better than next gen since next gen is waaay better than current its just that these players are already familiar with the gameplay of current gen for years and dont want to go back from start to learn next gen gameplay and be a noob there. Seriously, people be saying current is better than next gen because they dont either have a next gen console or they dont wanna learn the mechanics in next gen since they already mastered current gen gameplay. Its always in preference but without preference next gen is obviously way better
