What a great find that iron is!!! I too have issues with BOM. Living in Florida I don't need all different quilts plus I work full time and time is always an issue. But I can handle small lap size, wall hanging, table runners. I just picked different blocks from the book

I buy batting from JoAnns online. The 6 yd x90” was$22+ which is 2 queen or 3 twin. However if you can’t cut because of hand issues then get the individual pkgs. I recommend the Pellon 80/20 with scrim.

I wished I lived closer to the Cotton Quilt. I found her Etsy shop n ordered one thing, but never got it. I really wanted the bundle of fabric bec it was low volume Christmas fabrics.

I have the same problem with starting block of the month QAL. I last until about the 4th month. I should make all of them with matching fabric so I can put them all into one quilt.

I have the small iron too. Never had a problem with it. I hate the cords. They get in my way too. I have that Panosonic cordless too. Wow, lucky you. Quite a find at your thrift store. You will love it. That is quite a great price.
