Beautiful and inspiring, Sabrina. Thank you for showing by example that real strength comes from revealing one´s vulnerabilities with humility, grace, and honesty. Congratulations on your Shodan. So happy that you & your kids found karate!

I didn't realize you were at work already last year, or so the website says. And still I find pieces of your big topic which give more the idea of the whole picture... I started karate when I was 12 and am 52 now but don't worry, still feel like a baby, the Shoshin mindset (beginner, eternal learner) never leaves me. And I totally understand everything you mean, even if you don't speak it... 😊

I started karate in 2017. Started teaching in 2019. Started website and KZbin in 2020. Black belt in 2021. Lots happened the past few years. 😂 I'm 46 and still act like I'm 12. Never grow up. Lol 🥋👊

We do a similar thing with 2 people. Each person grabs one end, twists, and we play tug-of-war. Then twist it the other way and repeat. It helped a bit. Mine is slowly softening. No longer looks like a moustache.

It's very impressive that you tested for shodan with the face mask. I found training to be very difficult during the covid restrictions...especially with the face mask. This is my favorite video so far. Thanks for sharing

Thank you! I was fine when training with it, but during that test it was definitely challenging. Kept getting lightheaded. Nerves and pushing very hard. That mask was soaked after. 😂

@@TheKarateShrimp you're awesome! We do lots of cardio before regular training. It was very difficult to not get clean air in the summer. Yagi made additional kata...is that correct? If so I'm interested in seeing them if you don't mind sharing
