You have to be a strong minded person to go through your trials and tribulations .. Maybe leaving home maybe the solution to your needs .. and maybe not but if so, do it with a room mate female preferably and not with your boyfriend do it on ur own .. Paying YOUR OWN BILLS.. That how you learn to be a responsible and independent adult .. Your’ll still a young n growing ambitious young lady .. This way ur’ll have ur place n he’ll have his, and if it don’t work out you won’t have to go back home to Mom.. Bec ur’ll already settle into your place.. And don’t feel no way.. Get to no you .. Feel tht freedom of being free just doing you.. No kids !! Enjoying Life traveling seeing the World.. I hope this lil prep talk help you understand the important of finding yourself worth.. Good Luck !! Blessings 🙏🏾 Stay Safe & Healthy and remember To Always Keep GOD 1st .. ❤❤❤❤

On Mel Mel: I think Mel Mel hurt because he was the baby of the family. Yet in the middle of his dad leaving then his mom was distracted with Deshae and his career. I remember Monique described in a video about Mel Mel being depressed and wanting to live with his dad. Fame for one child can be hard for another. I think that’s a big part of Mel mels dislike of it. Brooklyn: I think Brooklyn has been struggling because first her dad left. Then Mel Mel. She’s in and out of relationships with guys. She also really struggles with Monique, I think there is some anger and resentment. Deshae I think has had to much responsibility. He had to support his whole family as a child. He took the role of a dad and now is having a hard giving up the role now that it’s not needed.

I love that you decided to do this with the family. Therapy is so necessary. I feel like the communication was so there in this session and everyone was heard. I love that there’s still so much respect for Mike and Justin who are brought into the family. I think y’all should give Brooklyn a chance to really be her own person and heard. 15 mins in and it seems like a Brooklyn intervention. They relying on Justin too much for answers. They want him to take responsibility for Brooklyn's behave or actions. They focused on the wrong person. Honestly, if she earned the money and spending it on perfecting her craft, there shouldn't be an issue. It's her money and she spending on something valuable. I agree with Deshae with the lack of parenting. Seem like Brooklyn wanted to call her mom a hater..lol Control and communication seems to be the main issues here. After they mentioned stealing Bali, I no longer took the conversation serious. Deshae doesn't take anything serious. Brooklyn energy doesn't matches their, which is probably why she isn't happy in the home. Wait how old is Mel? He has his own apartment that Mo's paying for and he doesn't want to contribute..lol wow Basically what Mel has (his own space and distance from the family) Brooklyn wants. If they let Mel live on his own at a young age they are being hypocrites. Mo really left that young boy in a house alone, with no parental guidance. Crazy!! Deshae bought all that equipment and never used it. Hypocrite!!

@brendapowell66452 жыл бұрын
Session was pretty good. All points was for sure valid and needed. Brooklyn wants to grow individually and feels like her own space would be a good choice for her mental. I don't agree on making impulsive decisions on temporary feelings. Like just because her and her mom is going at it at the moment. Mo needed to put her foot down a long time ago. The reason she is feeling like they don't listen is because she's a friend-mom. Deshae was really level headed in this session, that boy growing 👏
@riondrumz83992 жыл бұрын
I respect this video so much. Everyone is coping and dealing in their own way but the key of all of this is the communication amongst each other, if y’all could listen and hear each other out a little bit better then that could be the first little steps……relationship, family, friends we gotta learn how to say I apologize for how I hurt you in this certain situation and just accept it after telling your side and when you express yourself let it be known that it was never an intention of yours to hurt that person but simply you just wanted the best for them or needed them to understand where you were coming from and your point of view on things. Everybody can agree that most of the topics that were shared and expressed in this video was mainly happened and rooted from emotion. Sometimes we escalate things and blame the other party for a misunderstanding that we realize after the fact! Also y’all should have a session off camera with just deshae, mo, Mel Mel, and Brooklyn to rekindle things in that area and find out ways that y’all can get him into being on camera without sparking tensions to where he’s just like I don’t want to all the time maybe get him on camera in family sports challenges or mukbangs….yk something that he’s into and give him a heads up, yk hey Mel Mel I think this would be cool and fun for us to do as a family……there is a way for everything to be done you just have to understand both sides and stop going at each other’s necks and work as a team. Then talk to him about what y’all could do to get him out to LA more or y’all could go visit him more. It’s all about knowing what you have….literally y’all are a family and no matter what any of y’all go through whether it be breakups, depression, venting…..please realize that y’all are family and that’s all y’all need at the end of the day when everyone else has turned their backs on you because family gon ride, and family always comes back together no matter how many times they bump heads there is still a deep love somewhere that will forever be trapped in your heart. Remember that y’all all will definitely need a safe space and shoulder to cry on when all else fails and every body leaves you to rot and collect dust your FAMILY is going to dust you off and bring the brand new out of you!!

even through some videos were jokes, its a real issue that this family have to fix. so I hope if they stick with this therapist that she's just taking notes and absorbing how they communicate to be able to break down how to fix it in different sessions. like dont always be fixed on one person, and set rules for communication, and give them things they can practice on etc...

Y’all have to know that the,therapist wants to get to know everyone it’s her first time she’s meeting everyone ,she getting to know everyone .Of course Deshae is invested in his family doing good .We have to remember he wants what’s best for his family and he wants his family together , so yes he will makes sense when he was speaking because he’s old enough to look at the situation from a different point of view and make sense of it.He also wants his family to be together which is what a family is about,but this is just my perspective of seeing things but everyone always has a different way of seeing things.

I think this session helped, and I commend Deshae for arranging it and the family participating. But. I don't understand why Brooklyn needs to move on her own so fast. When I was her age I was preoccupied by senior year activities and preparing for college. I also don't understand why these kids can just do whatever they want. Mel Mel simply left when he felt like leaving and it was just okay, he got his own house. Mo still pays all his bills but he tells her how sh!t is gonna go. Brooklyn just gets up and leaves too, but she gets a car. Etc. Monique just wrings her hands and says she can't do anything with her kids. Deshae is the only one that at least waited until he was 18 and had graduated high school to move out, and he listens. I don't understand what happened with Mel and Brook, like I literally don't get it. I am your mom and I pay all your bills, and you're a minor, but you get to tell me what's what and you don't have to do anything I say or have any responsibility to the family. You just do whatever you want on my dime, cuss in my presence, and disregard my wishes or advice unless you want to listen. Am I missing something? Because I am baffled.. 😳

Everyone expresses their self differently if you have been watching them from day one Brooklyn has matured a lot there’s a lot that still needs to happen and a lot of growing there’s people that’s grown that still haven’t dun what she has accomplished age doesn’t mean anything if she says she’s ready for her own place let her see how it is to really live and cope without help . Everyone has emotions everyone deals with them differently

My thing is like .. mike thinks mo isn’t strong enough to handle her own problems.. like if she’s getting threatened or someone is putting there hands on her then yeah you jump in but other than that he should back up and let her handle her problems.. mo is a grown woman she knows how to deal with her problems unless she asks for help … mike is just making the whole situation bigger than it has to be .. and he lowkey gets angry a lot .. he says he’s chill but he’s not .. and wanting to protect them is great but controlling them and thinking you run everything now just because your dating there mom is crazy … and I agree with deshae when he said that he thinks Mike is in his moms ear because he kind of is … like it really doesn’t have that much to do with you .. like it probably have few parts to do with you but it’s there family bruh not yours.. and I was exited about Mike coming in the family but now I just feels like there’s more problems than before.. and to be honest you don’t kick out your child no matter how disrespectful they were Monique.. and that was disappointing that Monique is just letting this happen…and y’all need to let Brooklyn grow she’s not an adult yet but she ..will be 18
@millieclairr2 жыл бұрын
You can tell Mo was bothered when Mike said he brought structure. He was like unintentionally coming for her parenting and you can tell she shut down hearing that. And when Brooklyn started crying I started crying too😭 because you can really tell she was hurt. I’m happy Justin is there for her.

I do feel like they attack Brooklyn with a lot, but they’re not noticing that she such a motivational person even when she’s not tryin. Her video when she went to look at apartments I watched it. I’m 17 too and I turn 18 in 2 months. She motivated me to go look at apartments and that exactly what I did. And even though she did buy the car even her having a car at 17 it makes me wanna go look for a car and get a car. She motivates me to want to be more and more independent not sayin I’m not but that’s why I watch her. No telling how many other people she’s motivating.

@graciaaloma862 жыл бұрын
Yes, but if YOU change and the environment isn’t bringing you any happiness or any positive energy, then… . You can change Yourself, but if the environment is actually affecting your mental negatively then you have to try to put yourself into another environment to actually see if it’s you or something else, you know? Like how she was saying she’ll have ideas and her mom always have something negative to say, like the couple channel, that gets tiring and makes you not to be around the person.

I feel De'shae he worked hard to put his family on and provide so they can have the things they have. Justin that's your lady at the end of the day you should make sure she's making the right decisions. Mo deserve way more respect then she gets from Brooklyn! Brooklyn if I was you I would not try to rush out the house it's big space and that gives you time to really save your young. Know that your mom will never steal you wrong she just wants what's best for you! ❤️ Don't rap your life around a relationship. Mike get the structure going that's most important.

Brooklyn and I are very similar. However i feel like, if her family know how she is & that she always wants to do things her way then they should let her. There’s certain people that don’t learn from people telling them and instead need to go through experiences themselves. If things go wrong, be there and support her but a person with a mentality such as Brooklyn needs freedom but support when that freedom backfired etc

Y’all are giving her good advice on adult life and when a pre adult (about to turn 18) most times they can’t wait to be on their own and think life is a cake walk. Just let her experience life and learn how to win and lose on her own. I was in her situation and now that I’m older, I see exactly what my mother was saying to me. Just support her on her journey.
