As a working professional myself I can surely tell you dictating a look kills the overall vibe of an artist to create .. some inputs are welcomed for sure but inspiration pictures nowadays are truly unrealistic. Kindly be encouraging and supporting towards someone who has far more knowledge, wisdom and experience in something they do everyday… it’s like someone questioning and doubting your work ability.
