Honestly, Smug playing Dudley was part of what got me into watching Street Fighter games on a regular basis, and in all honesty, I'm maining Ed because of being inspired by Smug's fun-loving, slightly cocky, but always positive and humorous persona when he played. This is giving me serious nostalgia, and I'm reminded how thankful I am for Smug's existence. He was one of the first "role-models" I could look to in the FGC, and now that I've finally taken the plunge in SF6 (Currently Plat 1 on Ed and Plat 2 on Ken, but maining Ed now) I hope to one day enjoy the game the way he does. If you read this Smug, I love you man, but also one of these days, I'll get good enough and kick your butt.

Why give up on Ken? Plat is meaningless anyone can get it. I got gold after 2 matches. Jinrai loops are the only fun thing about SF6, and is one of the most execution heavy moves. Ed’s Japanese voice sounds like a bat out of hell.

@workoutfanatic7873 I play with English Voices, and while I don't dislike Ken, I prefer Ed. I enjoy his combat animations, his theme is hype, and he's such a technical character that I have massive amounts of fun labbing with him for combo execution and learning setups

@@snoobycong I get it, I have a sucky ass Ken lol. But still manage wins because there are so many weak players on Plat and Diamond, re: defense. I’m coming from USF4, so I just jump in target combo all day. Really miss the kara mechanic. Advise you mix your game up, as I’ve seen so many flowchart Eds, and those that will just turtle on a life lead. Edit: and ppl on plat and diamond losing to tick throws 24/7; and end of match wake up supers heh 😈. I had a A-tier Ken in USF4 - now lost because my fingers too used to SF6. I just played this Gief who, playing on PC was running a bot, to counter every single DI with a DI. Insane. I should get his / her info and get them banned!

In Steam and ps4 you will find matches at all hours xbox live is shutting down very soon. Xbox was the best platforn overall so i think steam and ps4 are equal. I play on steam almost every night 2-3 hours and always find matches.
