I LOVE that Nicole's mom taught her to try everything at least once. That has been a rule in my house since my kids were born. And I've always done the same thing myself. And now my kids are grown and they love trying new foods. Lol and now I've gotten my boyfriend to take on the same rule. He's a neat and potatoes country guy, but I've definitely opened his eyes to new foods. The food we've been experimenting with recently is Asian food. We are both from the Midwest, but we live foreign cuisines. I learned to make szechuan green beans with pork, and he learned to make chicken Tikka masala.
