Never trust Migration Agents. I've applied myself for my second 500, 485, and now my 190 (WA). I saved approximately 20K in fees by reading online and actively participating in Facebook groups. You can do everything yourself if you are patient and follow the instructions found online!

Hi Anjali that was very heart breaking I hope you could finally sort it out. However in my opinion with 95 point you should have gone straight away on 189. BTW I wanna say something regarding migration agents which when you sign a contract make sure you check whether your agent is a member of MARA or not. Honestly my agent the one followed my case, worked hard to settle every document and was also very successful.

I am offshore candidate and submitted my EOIs 3.5 months ago for the occupation Project Administrator (75 points for 190 and 85 points for 491). When do I expect an invitation?

It is harder at the moment you would need to increase your points if you can or else wait for the next year invitation round

Hi, Anjali. Thanks a lot for sharing your experience with me. Is there any chance that they will call software engineers in 189? Last year rounds did not consider any ICT candidates. Is there any place to find out the information? Any groups or authentic source?

189 is very unpredictable so we cannot relay on that visa alone you will have to keep your options open for 190 and 491 visa. It’s a good idea to put your EOI for 189 there can be another chance.You can join few groups in Facebook

No it’s not 💯 sure that you will receive visa after invitations if you get nomination then there are mostly 95% chance you will get your visa

You get invitation is the first step after that you get nomination and you then apply for the visa which has very higher chances that you will receive your visa now. Invitation does have good chances for you to get nominated but nomination is when you can think then now you will receive your visa

Hi there can you please help me.I recently applied for SC 491 NSW nomination. RDA Far south coast approved nomination for SC 491 visa. I came to know that on my Expression of interest 5 points were claimed for Professional year studies completed in Computer science, whereas my occupation for skilled migration is in Engineering domain and professional year completed in computer science is not closely related to Engineering, hence I was notified that this error on EOI may lead to visa refusal? if I were to proceed with the visa application.

My EOI didn’t got reject but my nomination did and I already assessed my degree. I had no similar experience overseas to assess my experience. You only assess you overseas experience if you have worked atleast 3 years

I got invitation for 491 visa from NSW, I hired an agent from Jalandhar Punjab, they took 59k indian rs from me to file the visa, they did not do any work for almost 2 weeks and once i started demanding for refund then they started working on my application, by that time i had already completed applicationa nd uploaded documents by myself, they did not even see my application and removed all documents and inserted again documents by themself. i got a mail from them that application is ready to be submitted, when i checked the file they had attached wrong educational documents in my category, they inserted my wives degree.. when confronted with them they started to fight. these people who have opened shops of immigration are the dumbest of all having no idea of anything just playing with money and emotions of people. i have lodged my application by myself again and all documents uploaded my myself. i am in way of filing a lawsuit against the agency for negligence and refund. i feel cheated

I am so sorry to hear that.If you are eligible to apply any for permanent residency visa I should be fine but they probably will ask you the refusal visa reason.

It all depends I would say do your research first before you go to any agents.

Was the skill assessment not done when you filed for visa with fees also what about the medical test you did not get it done

Everything was done I cannot put my EOI without skill Assessment. Medical only needs to be done once you have been nominated to apply for visa

I’m little worried, I have received my skill assessment results. In the experience they have mentioned commencement of job a day ahead than actual mentioned in my contract of employment. In contract it’s 27 May and in skill assessment result, it’s mentioned 28May. Does it cause any problem when submitting proof of employment after receiving invitation.

It should not affect as the skill assessment is issued by Australian org.As long as you have all documents correct and submitted the right ones.

@@uthiral5670 grant visa... actually lawyer confused me I have applied nomination after 15 months skill jobs. Even the government asking why you have not applied earlier we grant your visa earlier.
