I got scammed in phnom phen by airport taxi driver..charges was 15$.. I had 50$ in change so i gave him that and he gave me fake notes..i realised that when i went to restaurant for food..

What is your instict at that moment to enter that shady place? I assumed you have been to many other countries and place and it should be a red flag right from the start to identify that massage place as the no-go. Cambodia is full of knicks and knacks people scraping off any dollars they can to survive and I do not praise this scamming behaviors, but still It could have been easily avoided if common sense were used. But anyways, as a local, I have to apologize on your behalf for experiencing this shameful inidents here in Cambodia. I wish you all the best in your future travels.
