THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME! I was playing mm2 with my online friends and i asked my friend how she got so rich and she said it was her cousin who gave her it and i said as a joke oh i need to see her and my friend got her to join the game. She wanted adopt me pets for it and so my 2 friends and her cousin joined adopt me and i gave her a few legendary pets (rare ones) and we joined mm2. She gave me the items and i was happy. Part 2: I joined her in adopt me after grinding in adopt me all day to get her batwing and she said she didnt have it anymore so i said its ok and i traded her the pets so i could get another item and so she said join me and when i joined mm2 she had blocked me and reported me (i got a warning?!) and my online friend blocked me aswell, im still friends with the other one but thats how i got scammed..
