I Got SCAMMED on Facebook Marketplace

I bought a bunch of Sega Mega Drive games here in South Africa from FB Marketplace recently that never arrived :( But here we cant really lodge a complaint through Facebook because it's up to us to pay the sender to courier the items. It sucks.

7 seconds into the video and I found your first mistake, "I ordered 4 packages on facebook marketplace" Meet up in a public area, cash only, and make them send you video of everything working with the time and date and your name clearly stated in the video clip. You are upholding 100% your end of the deal with giving them the money and meeting up promptly(usually the one traveling more too), so they must uphold 100% of their obligation as well. 1 way to avoid these scammers on facebook is to google lens their thumbnail picture. They reuse pictures from google images. If you see the thumbnail anywhere else on the internet pretty good chance its a reused photo and a scam.

you can easily tell if someone is legit on facebook marketplace (profile/photos on how they are taken and if they even line up to the next photo) and most things that say buy now never work since most people don't even ship out....They always want to have payment elsewhere. Only worth doing pick ups

On the Snes controllers the ones with the engraved nintendo logo were later in the life cycle. I know they came with the jr and i believe stand alone

This exact scam happened to me on facebook marketplace. Had to dispute it with my bank.

Also, Facebook doesn't do a thing to help. They say they offer buyer protection, but they don't do a single thing. It it marked as "shipped" that's all facebook cares about.

That is why I NEVER EVER buy/bought ANYTHING online!! If I can't find it while I'm out n bout then so be it! But great channel and videos!! Keep it up!
