Judging by the impressions the truss rod cover had made in the finish, I'd say that bump you noticed has been caused by tightening the cover down on a finish that hasn't cured and it's displaced the finish, creating a bump

The early Supreme years featured ebony fretboards with Jescar evo frets. It is nickle-free wire that maintains a gold color when the nickel element is removed. Also, through the extrusion process it ends up about 20% harder than regular fret wire. These frets don’t dull and are so smooth it will spoil other guitars for you. Later they replaced them with richlite boards and an inferior gold mimic fret. Throw in 50’s wiring harness and Lollar Imperial low wind pickups and you’ve got yourself a killer LP! It’s not THAT hard to re-wire, just takes extra time and concentration.

I keep waiting for you to play a little more of that classic blues tune from a few movies like Pulp Fiction. I love the looks of that guitar and yes im going to say it this Supreme has a creamy full sound that makes me want one. If I can ever swing it I will have one. It's said to see that it got the stand rash or bleed but at least it isn't worse than it is. I've been trying to figure out how I can share pictures of some of my collection/ toys . Especially the two Studios 83 Greenburst and the 13 refinished but no luck so far. Even tried to see if I could post them along with the two SGs I picked up from you . The reissue 63 Epiphone Red with the lyre tremolo and the Pelham blue hard tail with P90s. I think it would just be fun for those of us who have bought guitars either from you , as a result of having seen particular hunting episodes or both. Kind of like the Trogley family of players if you will.

Les Paul Supremes have an extra large output jack plate, I bet it’s carved out more under there to allow access to the pots. He probably just kept the battery for the EMGs in whatever chambering is under the output jack plate.
