I got the A2 Drone License!! And this is how I did it!

It’s done! My next step in drone business was the A2 drone license!
Earlier this week I was able to complete the course and exam, and I am now a licensed A1/A3 AND A2 drone pilot!
The A2 license mainly gives me opportunity to fly closer to people with bigger drones. My sub 250g drone has quite free use, but since it is so light, it has limitations to wind. With a bigger drone, the wind is a smaller problem, but without the A2 license I couldnt have used a bigger drone for close flying to people.
In this video I show you the process on how to optain the license. This step-by-step video is made for Norwegian system, and might differ from other countries.

Hi! Besides the written/test exam, is there also a practical exam? If so, what specifically does it involve? Thank you.

Isn't it crazy that there is no practical at any point in the process. I really thought A2 would require that. Thanks for the detail though. It is very hard to find detail without someone trying to sell a course

Yeah, kind of. It is said that you should practice on your own though. When you get to next licence, STS, it is necessary to have a practical session where you prove your knowledge. :) Thank you for your nice feedback! And that is the exact reason I started this series, because there is limited information available for just checking.
