I know that you're trying to be humble but just as an observer, however don't discredit your own work my dude. You even said it yourself that you received the highest praise among the interns that they had there, that isn't luck, that is your work being regarded at an extremely high quality through Meta's standards. You were chosen for a reason, the school you went to and how smart others are isn't necessarily the best indication of strong qualities for software engineers. I'm saying this as a anengineer that was promoted 2 times in the same company from a junior engineer to a now senior level engineer in my company. You even said it yourself, you were maintaining a live stream and a youtube channel while doing this internship, there isn't a lot of people who can do that, and that takes a certain skill set. Celebrate your successes and continue to work hard.

as a meta intern this summer I highly doubt the truthfulness of this video, because from what I heard they are not giving any offer starting in October and when you heard an offer call it will be the first few business day the week after your internship not with this time gap. Also if you are a GE rating (hinted by your IM or yourself diagnose) you would not be frustrated about not getting an offer

yo brooo be extremely careful there is this german youtuber called Niklas Stenfaat who also worked at meta and has a wuite big youtube channel and got fired because of mentioning or even commenting positively on the company. Check out his videos, he also made some where he explained what happened to him and Meta. But make sure to be safe and to bring it up and ask your boss if it’s alright.

Just by this hour of watching you i can say that i am very proud of you and i wish you the best. Right now i am a sophomore in high school in NY staten island and i am trying to learn how to code. It's hard to do this work 'just to pay the bills'. Need to study and grind so hard just to have a small chance of getting hired someday. And then you realize you never really worked hard, even though you thought you did, because at a job you're expected to perform at a much higher level than ever before. So the grind intensifies.) I don't think it's possible to do this if you have 0 interest and just want to pay the bills. Anyway, good luck.

Congratulations man. I was in the same boat with you and thought I wasn’t going to get a return offer and I was complaining in your other video too about it. But thankfully they did offer me a a full time permanent role. The only caveat is that they lowballed me haha, so I have to start looking for a role that pays what I’m worth. Even my manager said I should leave if I accept the offer since he thinks I’m worth more lmao. But at least I achieved my immediate goal. Glad to see you achieved yours as well, despite freaking out like I was before.

I don't know you stranger as your video just popped up on my feed, but this is very exciting news. As someone who didn't even graduate college (went to coding bootcamp) and got an offer from a recruiter for my first full-time SWE job, it is super exciting! My dream job is to work at meta tbh, but I'm so blessed with my current job (NYC based as well, but remote) as I've never made so much money in my life; it's very surreal. Perhaps in a few years, if you're there, I'll see you! I'm sure your parents are very proud (and will now tell everyone) just like my mom did lol! :)
