"Where, death, is your victory? Where, death, is your sting?" "Come on gimme a shout of victory Overcomers and conquerors are we Cast off the spirit of worry and doubt Lord, loose us tonight cause it's time to break out" Thank you very much Mr. Licciardello.

Even though Carlton Pearson later left traditional, Biblical Christianity, I still love this song just on its own merits! It still holds up today!!

One of my favorite songs from Carman. In a crazy kind of way Carman reminded me of a Christian George Michael..he had class, charisma, had soul, a beautiful voice and the looks! Carman, thanks for the memories. So glad I was able to see him in concert, twice, in Texas. ☺️☺️

@Sidique Geloo Yes, it's a masterpiece arrangement that one day will get the recognition it deserves: Starting with the bass line that stands alone as a tour-de-punch; mixed horns then slide in with brilliant legato transition notes; the choir is a racial and gender mix to yield a certain balanced sound, but then the 3 black female voices with flanger effect on their voices set them off just right; the rhythm guitars with their reverberant effects pepper it with a perfect funkiness, and the vocals carry the passion of it all just right. Let's just say Keith Thomas knows just what he's doing, so that every measure is a boredom-free "tsunami of sound" that blasts you in the heart-nothing is by chance here.

I loved this song. Rip to Carman. I laugh whenever I hear Peter dances on the water. As far as Carlton Pearson. I can’t judge his opinions on hell. I’m not a big theologian and I am of the opinion he got tired of judging people . Great song though.

Shocked at the RIPs to Carlton Pearson. Dude straight mocked the Bible and Biblical Christianity. Slandered Believers. Went against the Bible basically. To you well wishers, it's extra clear that you truly don't believe the Bible. You made up a God in your head that accepts all, even when you do that which is evil. People done lost their minds. Rest in Peace? To this Heretic?
