Hii story ya shamba imenikumbusha my dad as the first born son aliwachiwa shamba agawie siblings wao wote. When he went for his cousin’s funeral, the youngest brother alimtukana sana juu ya shamba. Ati hajaishi Nyeri since baba yao akufe so he doesn’t need his share of his land. Wivu ikawa mingi nikamuambia awachane nayo wasimuue since they had started threatening him. Na hivyo ndio aliwaachia shamba but at least he is finally at peace.

Thanks guys for your comments, and I've and good counsel. What I deliberately omitted to share is that I was a victim of what I learnt later that the former regime (Trump's) to be precise had played his officers specifically in specific major entry points to ensure that entry for specif nationalities should be reduced to a bare minimum. I heard the rumour but decided to treat it as just that. A rumour and I became a victim. I have been in and out of America severally, and have been following protocol to the letter. I now know it was not just a rumour. I know of a sick lady who was denied entry from an ambulance. Her Excellency Martha Karua once declared that America is not Heaven after a bad experience.

If it was during the pandemic, Trump had blocked Kenyans from coming to the U.S. A lot of Kenyans and other African people were deported too. Trump administration didn’t like black people especially Africans and that’s why you were treated like criminals
@taucetus3657
@taucetus3657 Жыл бұрын
Exactly... you happened to be a victim of the policies of the former president. A lot of Africans in general were targeted for this mistreatment as well. Kenya's government unfortunately never stands up for its citizens and gets easily intimidated by white or international visitors. Kenya for one can demand embassies refund visa fees for visas not issued and for situations as this where a citizen's dignity is violated without cause. Kenya can reciprocate such treatment as well, like using discretion to pick out travelers from those countries at its ports of entry, publicly humiliate the visitors, detain them for hours for whatever reason, then refuse the visitors entry. It is a subtle way for Kenya to let the US and other human rights abusing countries know that Kenya is fully aware of mistreatment of her citizens on their soil. Such action would create a diplomatic spat which would highlight the issue and bring it out in the open. Both nations would be forced to settle for fair treatment of their peoples on both sides.

I felt this mama’s pain about the discrimination by the whites!she said a very important thing tht if we don’t love ourselves no one will..l personally experienced a very terrible incident at a very cosy hotel in Nanyuki(should l mention the name)?We had gone for a dinner but denied entry in certain entertainment area coz we had dressed “casually “and we were supposed to be dressed formally.Now this what happened,the whites (wazungu)were allowed to get in dressed in casuals.weuh!!we got mad being discriminated in our own country!!l was so mad and couldn’t believe we could be treated this way in our own country and the wazungus were welcomed like they were the owners.We were paying the same rate as them and thts why we could not understand the discrimination!!Its a shame how we treat our own and in our own country!!Its sad and shameful at the same time..l wish we could learn to embrace ourselves in a better way

Pole mami. This is so hard. Sometimes administrative reasons could mean the information you provided at the port of entry was slightly different from what you provided during your visa application at the embassy. For future travelers please keep the story consistent. Whatever you say at the embassy should match up what you say at the port of entry when asked. Remember Issuance of visa is not guarantee entry to US. I am not an attorney and I don’t work for US immigration.

It's a sad story right now as we listen but as long as there's a God in heaven who lives and reigns justice will be served. God's people let's remember that world material things gathered in falsehood will never benefit anyone. Families should come together and share what has been left behind by their loved ones rightly whether there's a will or not so as to make the departed happy wherever they are. Selfishness of some people doesn't bring blessings to them in the end. May God help us to show love to one another coz God is love ,stop calling one another names. Jeremy thank you for what you do every day God bless you 🙏🙏🙏🙏

They have a right to deny anyone entry hata kama you have a valid visa. They revoke the visa too. Just like citizenship, they USA government will revoke it if they need too or green card. They are usually fair enough until this business of immigrants working in Seattle. I wish we were tough to Chinese too. You seem invested with her brother and church title. Haven’t you heard of criminals and evil people hiding in churches. Why shouldn’t she share her side of her story and also fight for the rest of her family suffering. The brother can choose to sue her for defamation or tell his side of the story if untrue.

A bit confusing for me, one minute she paid over four hundred thousands shillings in tickets then it changes that the son facilitated the tickets She talks of the black Americans mishandling her at the airport and says better the whites then she talks of athungu being bad if that’s the way they were colonized Something does not add up for me and probably I did not understand her kikuyu very well. What did the Catholic Church have to do with her fighting for her father’s grave to warrant her moving from the church to the Anglican Church?
