The whole purple belt/wristbands have lore behind them. In the early animated episodes of Goku going super Saiyan (specifically the Android 19 fight) Goku’s belt and wristbands developed a purple hue when he went super Saiyan. I think maybe this was color corrected down the road? This is also why the most expensive/exclusive/rare SHFiguarts Goku SSJ SDCC 2011 release has this color scheme. It was a rare moment in DBZ history that is unnoticed by many. A tiny detail.

Absolutely agree with how the hair could've been brighter. The hair just pops and looks way more vibrant in the SSB version. Also very glad you pointed out the black line under his eyes too. Still a great figure nevertheless 🎉

It’s a great one for sure I’m a sucker for Super Saiyan Goku. This one Omnibus Crash (I just got mine) and ultimate Variation in that order in my opinion. Ultimate Variation was my favorite for years but Crash is stellar and it’s my new top dog.

I would more understand the Vegeta considering that is, I think the ONLY Super Saiyan Vegeta Kuji in his Saiyan armor but I do have the base form strong chains took forever to get. Never mind the SSB Variants Vegeta being the LP 😅

Goku is amazing, had the whole set but decided to sell everything except Goku SSJ. Vegeta is a bit on the skinny side imo which I don't like plus he tends to lean forward Having him as a gift that's mad, grats!

ngl i have no idea why the MV of this set is so high. They are not bad, but just very average. I get the Emoving Battle of WOrld Vegeta and Goku with 3 heads and 2 pairs of arms is sought after, BUT these fr i have no clue. They are not iconic, they are just a bigger copy of the old RoS. imo it shouldn't be over 5000 yen but sometimes the market makes no sense.

Well they aren't just bigger versions of those. They are a lot more detailed and higher quality. I think it's a disservice to just call them larger versions. I'm sure the price is because of the fact they are the first DB Masterlise figures, they were exclusive to Japan, and frankly look really good.
