As a Dutch traindriver I say this so called manager must be sent home permantly! This behaviour of station personal won't be tolerated by train loving enthousiasts like ourselves. You and all other people in your film are an example of how we get along with each other. Trainspotters like yourself will always get my approval. I've had to deal with people like that a few times, and got prosecuted once since I travelled outside of the London metro area with my Oyster Card. When the Judge saw that the overground staff had printed me a recite with directions that didn't clarify where the metro zone ended, the case was dropped.

The station managers job is to keep people safe. I've met this guy many times, I'm not really a training enthusiast, but his job is to keep people safe, run the station and that's not an easy job So, I don't think it's going to go badly for him. He's completely right in what he says i don't think you have to ask a permission to film trains I don't even know why you'd want to film trains, but still.....

The difficulty with this scenario is that Wembley Central has a unique arrangement, where access to the main line platforms are restricted, and you can only access the platforms when there is a train arriving in, only to catch that train. If you stick around after that train has left, they will get annoyed about it. It is a shame that they have this arrangement now, as Wembley Central is one of the best places to see a 37 due to the bridge above creating an enclosed space where it passes.

I really want to thank you, I saw a few of your videos last month and started thinking train spotting may be fun. I am on holiday in Japan at the moment and I had an opportunity to go see the phantom shinkansen Dr. Yellow, and when I thought about how much fun you have spotting trains I jumped at the opportunity. It took a lot of effort to be there at the right time as the timetable is top secret, my brother in law helped with his old train spotters friends on Twitter to find the time. Seeing it pull up to the station was an experience I will never forget.
