You mentioned Ron Lee sculptures. I went to school with Ron, we graduated in 1965 from high school in Los Angeles California. He was the sweetest guy, cute and had a great sense of humor. We had all our art classes together. Sadly Ron passed away a few years ago. Maybe that makes his art more valuable. He is missed. Your videos are the best!

Been watching and learning for you for awhile. Yesterday you said to go down aisles that you normally don't just in case an item was put back in the wrong section. Today I went down the basket aisle that I usually skip and found a nice well made ceramic succulent planter. It was tucked behind a few baskets. I bought it for $4.5 and plan to sell for at least $25. So thanks for the tip. 😊

@Rose Rollins. I am new to Oklahoma from Colorado mountains and am not used to the heat at all. I remember the 113 degree days when staying with my best friend in Las Vegas. This humid heat is a different kind of dragon for sure. I bet it’s really humid in SC too! That is so cute about your cat! I got my new little dog a stone tile to lay on. It’s much cooler for her and she loves it! Maybe a cat would too!

Pick up those doilies, Danni ! They are going to be "in vogue" again soon, so grab 'em before others do! I worked at a huge gift shop in the 80s and early 90s and fell in love with fairylights, so I started buying them and thrifting for them before people cared much about them. Now I have about 110-120! I don't know if I can part with mine but at the prices they get for them now, I think I'll be trying ;-)

I am loving this Swap Meet but at the 29:42 mark you picked up the sweetest vintage clear plastic little purse with posies and a compact in it. One thing I learned on another sellers site is, if that metal bar on a "Guitar Hero" guitar spins al the way around, then it's broken. It shouldn't be able to do that. I remember growing up with those spice jars they came in a wooden rack that originally held 8-10 bottles. 4-5 in the top row, and the same on the bottom.

The tortoise things..I thank you so much for,,,I use them for bonding with dad who turned 88 and is a challenging fellow...and he LOVES them too. You can still see a bite on his hands,,,Also he enjoys the birds (all nature really)..retired rancher,,,so great to have friends to go with at these big outside places. And for those of us in limited areas where it snows 9 mos a year...thank YOU for all the thrift travels and scenery. LOL...the plethora of toys and opera and slow romantic deep voice stuff combo..in the early AM...I loved that. Sonny is a delightful soul...

Some of those larger bottles with those icky peppers are neat to use. Dump the peppers in the garbage, wash the bottle thoroughly, fill with water, add a philodendron plant, and a Japanese fighter fish.

The fish at 37:00 is the Pout Pout Fish and there are numerous books about him. I wonder since they seem so prevalent, if you paired them with their book or books (I see a lot of the in bins and garage sale videos) if they could become profitable? Not high dollar, but could be consistent sellers! As a teacher, I am a collector of Kohls Characters for sure when we do character studies of the books.
