I think it’d be amazing to do a Tahoe drift build. I’ve never seen anyone else do a drift build with a Tahoe. And you should definitely add the lights and everything just like neighbor.

Problem with something like that is how top-heavy it is. You can't slam it too far to lower the center of gravity because it would completely fuck the steering angle, even with a full-custom knuckle and tie rod ends and such. And while there's a fair bit of aftermarket support for offroad suspension components, there's essentially nothing that would give the required adjustments for camber, caster, toe, and steering angle that wouldn't also completely fuck self-steer, etc. It would have to be almost completely custom fab stuff by a shop that does primarily drift car builds, and that would not be cheap or worthwhile for a one-off. And it's not like Cleet has really touched his OTHER drift cars in as long as I can remember. And he's the only one of the entire crew that can really drift for real. Jackstand can do it a little bit, but he'd almost certainly rather drive the drag cars and work on those things instead. So, they are better off just doing it as a standard go-fast build but with better normal suspension and doing the wrap and lights and such than trying to put lipstick on a pig. Personally, I'd rather see them build the Tahoe as a track-day support truck and parts runner than everyone in the shop can and actually gets to drive on the regular. Like...the F-150...who else is getting to drive that, really? Set the Tahoe up with a full mobile shop kit with tools, generator, small welder, fans (for cooling gearboxes etc), consumables (belts, filters, plugs, plug wires, coils, fuses, jacks and jackstands, etc so that whenever they do a track rental or whatever, everything they need is all self-contained and ready to use without having to haul the full trailer/toter around everytime and without having to always toss a bunch of crap into the back of a pickup and hope they have what they might need instead of wasting an entire track rental because of bad or burned plug wire that was found after one trip down the 1/4.
