The thing is shoulder burn is good because it means ur doing it with good form, atleast he isnt using his traps, but yh a small little arch could be better, lateral raises are meant to burn tbf

4:18 the common "push pull legs" is done one ach day so you would do push muscles (ex. chest, triceps,shoulders), then the next day do pulling muscle groups (back, bicep) then day 3 do legs. While you could do full body in one day, the benefit of push pull legs is that you can hit each group hard and by the time that day comes back those muscle groups are fully rested bc you werent using them the other days

i had the same shoulder problem when i first started going to the gym, i just started making sure i stretched my arms properly and was drinking enough fluids during the session and that worked for me!

yeah it's typically a rotator cuff issue. i've got problems with mine too and i've been using resistance bands on a very light weight to strengthen parts of my shoulder and your body will do the rest eventually

2:57 seen good comments on this but none mentioning warming up your rotator cuff, if you ever do back shoulders or chest you should always give it a warm up. I had to learn the hard way

Do push one day, pull another, legs another- then repeat depending on how many times you are working out in a week. Just adds some structure to your workouts. Helpful tip is to write down what you are lifting weight and reps so you can keep track and apply progressive overload

if u want less clicking from the shoulder make sure to warm up your rotary cuffs in your shoulders then improve form by keep arms a little bent but bringing the weight infront of you a little more

Hi Randy. I know this is a late comment but for lateral raised (the exercise you said hurt your shoulder) you could try doing seated or do cables instead of dumbbells. Some places even have machines for this exercise. Your shoulder clicking doesn’t necessarily mean it’s hurting, but obviously there’s a pain between your muscles working and muscle pain. I would also recommend warming up shoulders the best you can since it’s such an injury prone joint. Looking good, keep up the grind!

Randy during a lateral raise, You should move your arms in scapular plane i.e Neither completely forwards nor completely sideways but somewhere in between to avoid cause impingement. And the do some rotator cuff exercise to strengthen them.

You could try an upper lower upper lower so a 4 day split - longer sessions but if you are efficient can be done in less than 1.5 hrs and would yhen mwan 3 days off to focus/greater recovery time on the other things . Pull push legs is good but then you spending 6 days training

randy for the lateral raises you could swap out for sidelying lateral raised and drop the weight, itll be just as effective bc you’re working against gravity in a better position for your shoulder

For the lateral raises can try to not go completely sideways but around 60 degrees slight bent in elbow and maybe go bit lower again in weight and work on repetition. Then when it’s going good try going up again

Ik this is a few days late but if u see it, for your lateral raises; have your elbow higher than hand, like someone's online moving ur elbow, and personal preference but I stop shoulder level, but if u lean while doing them that may help as well

I had the same shoulder problem, even without lifting weights my shoulder would click if i lifted my arm up. It eventually went away after a few shoulder workouts.

Just some advice man, if u wanna cut your weight, do Intermittent fasting, and try to avoid like sugary, carbohydrates, and floury/wheaty meals, and chage it to more protein meals and some vegetables too. If u dont like the veggies used the multivitamin instead, i did that and i think i got cut like 15 kg's like in 2 monts, and if you want the stretch mark begone, dont do the cardio stuff like running or doing games exercise, cuz you need the more weight lifting to built the muscle, not the cardio stuff, keep the good spirits man

Randy, straight back, slightly bent forward like an inch or 2, arms bent to 45 degrees not 90, don't raise your elbows higher than your shoulders, make sure your hands are below your elbow for the entire movement. Hit me up if you need a personal trainer
