Mount it upside down under your microwave shelf, as it seems to be working fine in that exact area. Why deadhead and waste fuel if you don't have too.? P.S: I'm not in the USA, or anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere for that matter - just long way down-under (even closer to Antarctic than the Aussies are)

I got StarLink. It’s overkill but FUG IT! I still gotta get it converted to a flat mount system. Hopefully sending it off this week when I get back to the terminal!

@@jameshowardiii9304 so far it’s been perfect. I’ve heard of ppl hitting dead spots in upper Michigan. I’ll try that out soon enough tho. So far from Mn all the way thru Idaho then down to Arizona to cali no problem. Texas no problems. New York, Virginia and surrounding states and from Wisconsin to there no problem. Have yet to try in far northeast, Florida or Portland areas.

Damn girl, I feel you for not dead heading. Do they Atleast pay you for sitting? Just curious on how much you make also. I just started flatbedding two months ago and I make $1500-$2000 a week being home almost every night. Around 2-2500 miles. But I can definitely make this doing dry van or reefer with no touch freight 🙄 and that’s here in Texas! Anyways stay safe out there. I hope you find something better and more consistent!

I wouldn’t live in that State if you paid me, most strict draconian Gun laws, the highest property taxes in our Nation, and corruption galore. I live just 20 minutes away , from South Jersey, in Pennsylvania. I worked out of Jersey @ the New England Motor Freight, ( NEMF) terminal in Pennsauken , LTL, now closed up, another trucking company bites the dust, a few years ago.

I saw the end of your Video and It confirmed my first thought. Anything they tell you out of New York, New Jersey It's a lie. Get out of there as soon as possible. I would have been bouncing to carolina The first time your travel agency mentioned it. They just cost you four days ten hours of deadhead fuel money. That's not even mentioning the stress sitting there knowing you gotta pay bills. The east coast sucks.

Its a tough market unless you have dedicated freight and are a large carrier to secure contracts. Smaller carriers are struggling. Go to a large carrier and you have to deal with incab cameras, safety department and you won't get good loads until you earn their trust.

The best place to put your WIFI box is on the shelf right above you. I have several Ford Transit Cargo Vans, that have a shelf above the driver and passenger where I keep the WIFI system setup. Can you use load boards?
