Psa is loose on centering and is a crap shoot overall , 60-40 is their common centering spec for most graders on the team and the bigger the card the looser they get. Seen plenty of bangers get 8s then get re-subbed to get 10s ,aswell as even 7s get resubmitted to then get 10s. Its ridiculous and PSA is honestly complete trash when it comes to grading. Its brutal and how they get such a crazy price bump on pricing is beyond me. Go buy a becket 9.5 or an sgc 9.5 and resub it and see if it changes.

Psa 6 usually have a print line, psa 8 is off center or bad corner or surface issue. If you are going to sub often, you should invest in tools to see all of these issues before submission. GL next time.

Have not found any optic football. Caught the vendor at Target 5 minutes late. Another guy bought all the blasters. Said he needed to feed his family. I asked him if he bakes or deep fry's the cards.

Just watched this. Curious if the ones with the low grades had some hard to see surface issue. I've heard they do look at cards through a loupe or some magnification. Worth looking over cards in a similar manner. I agree though... I love that Beckett does subgrades. Apparently PSA has a very expensive grading tier that gives and explanation report or something.

How do you know the cards you are sending to PSA are the same cards you are getting back? They could give you a lower graded card and keep the PSA ten card ? I just don’t trust these grading card company’s especially these days! Is there any way to tell you are getting YOUR card back ?

So I have to ask you as I have seen you talk about it on your submissions... you say they are redemptions or straight from a company... youre not sending them in that way right? You def have to take them out, clean them, look them over. I dont know if you have it, but invest in a grading setup. It will drastically improve your grades. Also get yourself a centering tool, a lot of your grades are off because the centering is so bad. Just a little friendly advice to get those grades up so you dont waste money.

It's not a scratch on the card in some of those. It is a flaw in the new batch of PSA plastic slabs. Look closely you will see the scratch is in the plastic not on the card.

Nice video. Curious if you use any pre-grading service prior to sending anything in? Might be worth it to really cut down on the lower grades. I’ve graded 1000+ cards over the last year and a half and 8s and lower are pretty rare for me. But I’m also looking over every single card under a bright light and making sure I’m not sending in damaged stuff. 8s come every once in a while but it should be decently easy to avoid anything lower than an 8 on ultra modern cards.

you should take your cards to a LCS & have them prescreened. They will ship out the cards & do all the work. I don't send any cards that pre-screen less than a 9 unless it's for PC. Some card shops will pre-screen for free if you grade with them, my shop charges just $2 per card.

Everyone shits on psa bc they think it’s the cool thing to do. They’re fair and grade cards accordingly. I’ve subbed over 5k cards in the past 4 years and not once have I ever had an issue with any of the grades. Stick with them. Highest ROI and Beckett isn’t worth it unless you get a pristine 10..

The thicker cards generally have a lot of surface damage on the back of them and grade badly from what I've seen. Some killer10's there tho!

I have a beef w PSA they need grade insurance , I look at all my cards under a 50x magnifying glass and a microscope before submitting , I got three 6s on brand new cards , wtf , do you see an issue on their grading lately ?

A lot of 10 Wemby’s, definitely got unlucky with the Chet cards and those last 5 cards were brutal. All up you got a lot of 10’s man. No one’s ever going to get all 10’s. I’m surprised I didn’t see any 9.5’s or 8.5’s though

PSA is definitely easier to get a 10 overall than Beckett! Probably why people use PSA Over Beckett. I’ve seen many PSA 10s that would probably be a 9 with Beckett. I wish PSA would do sub grades.

My Ex worked at the PSA Collectors in Santa Ana personally in my experience sending my cards to get graded I like to split up my cards to get graded by multiple different graders then send the whole grouped together I find to get more 10 that way
