BBC Breakfast studios in Manchester, Quay Side. The video is spread over 2 days due to bad wind the first visit causing drone issues. I am told there is a different law in this area preventing drones.

Well it permits flight at the level of an aircraft for the purposes of flight. It does state that local laws such as trespass are in place for what would be deemed as low level flight - If you build and extension to add a floor to your house do you get a CAA permit, no. You own the airspace over your house. If we keep seeing antagonistic approaches from auditors, namely not leaving private property when asked or drone launches, then the existing laws will be clamped and enforced more closely.

You don't know half of it, I worked there around 2004-2006 on the Leeds site, I was working for BBC Sounds at first but would find myself with a brief for news stories and interviews or travelling to areas. I found a strong pattern for they merely promoted labour areas, and my pictures were according to flowers and landmarks. While in areas they didn't align with the BBC thought process, they wanted Pictures of backstreets with wheelie bins or decorations such as Buildings with graffiti, terrace streets etc. I saw this in interviews for Labour MPs being just outright promotions and the opposite side being hit pieces. When one enters the BBC sites, it is easy to notice why this is the case, Everyone seems to be university-educated and the management sources from the Middle class believe themselves to be upper-class' London types ' as I call them. I got a wake-up call on my first day at the Leeds site when I was told to" keep your politics to yourself" by an acquaintance who got me the job I asked " why " to which he added "If you aren't labour or lib dem " don't add to Discussions. As your contract will run short, then on meeting my first boss Pippa from London, I understood full well. Ofcom was correct about them, that's for sure.

It makes other auditors/drone flyers look bad when you purposely take off from private property to annoy them, even if just for a few seconds. Up until then the audit was good, just take off from public like you are meant to mate instead of antagonising the situation for no reason.

Agreed, they don’t actually care about auditing anymore it’s clear these videos are just made for him to be rude to people and antagonise them to get a reaction, the first thing he said to the first fella was just “I’ve got a drone I’m gonna fly over the building” knowing what the response would be but instead if he was polite and actually said what he was doing and explained the laws to them politely then security wouldn’t be made to look like idiots, these KZbinr audits if they took what they do seriously would want to educate security that it is allowed rather than just go there to be a prick, won’t be surprised if more laws get put in place regarding drones sooner or later because of these guys taking advantage of it.

Totally agree, i'm very new to this, not even taken my drone outside yet as been to windy since i have had it. Its these youtubers that will end up getting drones banned altogether, What all the security firms and all business need to know is that people can fly over the properties, that way channels like this will no longer have any views as they wont be any confrontation. As usual minority spoil things for the majority

I feel sorry for security guards. Couldn't imagine in my wildest dreams standing around all day with my hands in my pockets contributing absolutely nothing to society! Absolutely boring!
