I didn't realize that back then because I got "Heir presumptive" kind of results for "successor" from google at the time and I didn't know how to answer the question.. Harriet is adopted and she isn't supposed to look like Michael. The inbred thing was a joke-- By that I meant how if, for example, I brought a new character in the AU for some reason, they would probably be related to an already existing character. Just for "plot twists" and "drama" (That is kinda the case for Harriet). She isn't actually inbred or anything. This explanation must look/sound like gibberish. Sorry, I'm not good at explaining things.
