Kayla, Kayla, Kayla....You've got me wanting to go and shop when I move into my new house. It's not finished being built until next April 2024. Now because of you I want to go look around and do this. Maybe not to sell but to look for neat treasures for my home. I'm 63 and retired post-operative nurse and my husband is recently retired prosecutor of 43 years. Matt, you need to teach Kayla how to bundle and negotiate 😊 As soon as you see that at least 1/2 of a table or bin are good, ask what they would take for the whole thing. Most of the time they would be better off selling it all than to have you pick out the best items and are left with the unselllable items. Plus, like in this case, if you miss something, you have it! LOL But it's how we learn RIGHT? 😊 Amazing haul gurl! You did great!

With the amount of times I hear people ask for video games the moment they step foot out of there cars at all the yard sales I go to you would have a different mentality. Love your disclaimer at the beginning! Best garage sale I ever went to, the next week, they were GIVING AWAY EVERYTHING LEFT! I GOT A $2500 HUGE PAINTING! I KEPT IT BECAUSE I LOVED IT!! PLUS QUITE A FEW OTHER THINGS!! I got a 4ft phone chair with a drawer & door. You sat there when on the phone.

I figure the good ones would cover the not so good buys, and I would go through everything at home. But, honestly, I don't think you would have any real bad buys in that lot. Just curious why you didn't try to buy the lot of matchbox cars. Her prices were great, and there may have been a few great cars in there. I found out the hard way too Kayla. I gave my son all the game systems and cartridges that we had accumulated and he played them for a few weeks and posted them for sale. He sold everything for $400. He said mom I could have sold so many more. Now I know why now. He had four complete systems all the accessories and cartridges with the books....ugh! You still did great though.

Oh, sweet Kayla! Buy the whole tote, bring it to your car and go back in for another look. There had to be other treasures there. I would have probably gone back 2 or 3 times. I don’t know anything about vintage toys from USA but every time i see ninjas turtle now i buy them !! I got my lesson from a estate sale that had buckets full of vintage toys for $10 each,i end up getting one that came with a mutant ninja that sold for $400 i cry after i realized the treasure i left behind!! Since then i just grab the whole thing and sort at home !! The good thing about kayla’s way of sourcing is that she don’t have to go through a lot once she gets home she can just focus on listing the good stuff she got!!
