Hello James, This is an epic interview on your complete career, thankyou for sharing....l did not realise the Shit & Team Politics that you had been through.... I was racing National 600's in the late 90's... just me & my Dad out the back of a Transit van, 2 sets of tyres only for the 3 days.... Happy memories. With reference to your Foggy Petronas stint, l had a few beers at one of the Goodwood Revival meetings with the legend Troy Corser, l had read about special engines for him & asked him the question....guess what, he said that all engines were the same specification for you & him....maybe he meant all 'his' engines were the same spec😅....James, you were a great talent that had a rough ride getting what you deserved...Best regards.👍

James was in my year at middle school age 8-12 yrs old, n his father was GP for my family, his father retired early to support James in his career. Interesting fact, racing bikes was not his first appearance on TV, James is related to fashion designer Zandra Rhaodes n when an episode of this is your life was dedicated to Zandra, James n his immediate family also appeared on it. Just before it aired on TV, James gave a presentation at school, age 10, or 11 or possibly12, explaining whom she was n that he would be on the show, I moved out the area, moved back for a few years, n moved out the area again, but while back there, once while shopping in local supermarket, despite not seeing each other for about 30 yrs, he recognised me n called out my name n I had a conversation with him, he really is a down to earth positive polite gentleman. Im not saying anymore about him or his family, its his decision what he chooses to say about himself n his family.

Morning Shrew! Sorry to hear about your sound experience, this is quite a rare comment. Apart from James’ cold which couldn’t be helped and the room with uber-echo with Jordan & Frank, I work hard to make the sound as good as I possibly can. What are the issues you’re having?
@The_Bag__10 ай бұрын
Morning, Yes I agree it’s not the norm tbh the guests, content etc are normally good. I love the behind the scenes content 👍 One of the vids I watched a few weeks ago the mic sounds weren’t balanced. I can’t remember who it was with but you were quiet and the guest volume was fine. No real drama tbh just thought I’d say to try and help to make what is already good even better. Best wishes for future episodes ✅

@@The_Bag__ I appreciate the feedback, thank you. I do try my best with every show audio but I’m definitely no sound engineer (or trained video editor for that matter 😁) but feedback is always appreciated. Great chat. After listening/watching many hours of numerous views about the Petronas project, you realise what a piece of shit that whole project was. Little interest in winning, just making money for a select few. The greedy side of motorcycle racing. Love the wheel-nicking story.

@@OffTrack_Podcast I have, Dave. It's indicative of how big money can ruin sport, and in some cases, peoples careers. It also reveals the level of integrity of many involved. Another one out of the park James Haydon talk about getting crapped on from a great height how he is so positive about the way he was treated is a credit to the man , sometimes this sport just chews people up and spits them out .James has the perfect view on it he fully enjoyed the good times and and has ended up in a happy fulfilled place in life absolute top guy . Great questions as usual I must say I would love to see Danny Kent do really well this year and I have always felt that he got a bad rap in Moto 2 and was beating his teammate Miguel Olivera when they shared a box for Leopard in it first iteration in Moto2 and the same when he rode for the Speedup team .
