I'm stuck at Home. I have no car, way out in the country, nobody around, I have nothing. Over 40 years I've walked, I've backslid, I've been lukewarm, at times on fire for my Lord Jesus. Now, it's like I'm on a deserted island, and all I have is Jesus, His Holy Word. When you have nothing, you realize, you have everything in Jesus our Lord God and Savior Amen.

You will be fine just learn to move with God. As pastor mentioned and I can back it up. It's best to move with God. It's peaceful. And I always needed peace. I could never find it without Jesus and His father and Holy spirit. I love you. May God be with you as I know he will. Even if you turn away he will never leave you. The hand is always there. When your church is ready for a pastor of that level, it will receive it. A w tozer did not exactly start out speaking to thousands. He had a small congregation in Chicago, then he got a larger one in Toronto. Leonard ravenhill had a church in the seventies and '80s that only had a few dozen people attending... He also had seasons in his life where he spoke to thousands evangelistically. There's no church in my city that is ready for a real Christian leader like Carter conlon to come pastor them. When the congregation is over 90% goats or babies, they would not stand for a man of that caliber to be in their midst.

Ive been listening to Pastor Tim online since he was just guest speaking there and other places- his sermons have encouraged me many times-so much that I sought out on KZbin every sermon I could find. He is a great preacher but also so very very FUNNY! the gift of being able to make people laugh like that with clean humour is a gift from God. It takes people out of their own head and troubles for a moment. 2020 wasn’t a very funny year-what a time for him to be stepping into a new role and everything being so serious one of his greatest gifts being shelved for the sensitivity and seriousness of what was going on. God uses Pastor Tim in a beautiful way, just wait till he starts bringing his sense of humour back- there is No Doubt God has destined him for where he is, in the time we are in. We need to laugh again… God bless Pastor Tim and Pastor Carter. Love‘m both ♥️

@@thetruthhurts599 Hi Sis. Dear Sis, there are a lot of people in the church who claim to be Christians, but their fruit definitely says otherwise. There are times I am blown away by men & women inside the church who are so selfish, with their big butts in the same seat every week lol, as if they have a personal seat license. I really dislike that a lot! I see people putting coats and jackets and books on seats to hold their spot while others (Who may need Jesus) walk up and are unable to sit down because a person who claims to be Christ loving is selfishly reluctant to sit further back, and the other thing is, the church allows it. It should be where if you're not in the seat, it's up for grabs. There are times I walk in and get stared down. Few smiles. I feel more suspicion than flow of the Spirit. It may be because we live in NYC, but really, if we're saved by the blood of Jesus, we're supposed to have the JOY of the LORD! Last, what really bothers me most... When Jesus Christ walked the earth, He was amongst the people. He saw people up close and was personable. I have been going to Church in NY since 2017 and in that time I have not once been greeted by a Senior Pastor, nor have I had a handshake from an associate Pastor. It's pretty sad considering the ministry of Jesus. Sometimes I feel like the Pastors are held in way too high of esteem and the clergy in general are really like an inside group of cronies who interact with one another yet hold themselves above mingling with the flock. That is utterly obnoxious and a failure within the body of Christ. If I have disdain for it, I know God must really hate it. Praise God for His Holy Spirit who lives inside of our hearts though! Without the lord we might as well be our there on the street wandering and wondering where the love is.
@thetruthhurts5993 жыл бұрын
@@mr.mister4110 I understand what you're saying. Sometimes, people in the church are the most hypocritical. I don't understand why pastor Carter has to explain that pastor Tim was chosen by God to now be the pastor of this church, like the congregants are a bunch of babies. They're acting like a bunch of spoiled high school children. I couldn't believe it when I heard pastor Carter explaining this decision. With all that's happening in this world, you would think that these so called Christians would be more welcoming. If they love Pastor Carter as they claim, then they would understand his choice for Pastor Tim. I've been in a church a few times and stopped going when all that was taught, was money. The pastor literally told the attendees that God wants them to sell all their belongings and give the money to the church. Every single day I attended, you heard more about money and less about the gospel. For those who doesn't like pastor Tim can find another church to attend. Me I will give this man the respect he deserves so that he can preach the gospel wholeheartedly! Stay blessed my brother in Christ and maybe one day we can both hear from Jesus himself from the pulpit.

I see TSC differently. After preaching and attending services all day Sunday, Pastor Carter as senior pastor would go stand in the lobby before the 6pm service and greet and shake the hands of every person he could as they walked through that front door and when I shook his hand you could sense his humble spirit. He would also just stop and speak or shake your hand if he was on his way out the door or whatever. Pastor Carter, Pastor Ham, Pastor Patrick, and every other pastor and elder would ALWAYS smile or shake hands and stop or just say hello when walking by if they were in a position to do so. Unfortunately they can't always give individualized attention to thousands of members. But they try. There is no lack of in humility on this team and I can say the same for much (but not all) of the congregation. I guess it depends on each person's perception. So then I suppose the way you feel about most of TSC is the same way those you speak about feel about pastor Tim. Pastor Tim seems to be a good man of God also but we all tend to be critical of others at times and I think everybody falls short to us when they don't meet our expectations according to how we think they should be. That's why as you said we should instead learn to look to Jesus and not to men. God bless.

Psalm 101 1 I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing. 2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. 3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. 4 A forward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person. 5 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbor, him will I cut off: him that hath a high look and a proud heart will not I suffer. 6 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me. 7 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight. 8 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the Lord.
