I Had a Route Malfunction, Trying to get to Gold Hill

Rode to Gold hill when i first started on road, never gone up it or down it for that matter, you’ve done both in one video!! Well done!!

Thank you Teifilass, that really means a lot, as I put a lot of work into the edit. If you knew how steep those cobbles were, you’d know how hard that is to clip out on a road bike! But I just had to give it a go, but it did terrify me!! 😂

Nice one Darren. Gold Hill is so picturesque and the stabilisation of the insta 360 did very well I think. Enjoyed the video once again. 👍

Thanks Steve, I was very surprised with how well the cameras stabilisation worked! If you’d have seen how much it was wobbling, you wouldn’t believe the video would have turned out like it did. I was having kittens as my new pride and joy was being bounced around on those cobbles. Glad you enjoyed it too, not sure what was happening to my Wahoo, but it went wrong a few times again yesterday, but thankfully Pete’s was working fine. So maybe it’s time for a new updated version. As I was an early convert to Wahoo, so it’s getting rather old now!

I always find it’s not the gradient, it’s the cobbles bouncing you around which makes it worse! Having said that, it’s a must do for every cyclist!

It confused the hell out of me Spike! The route in my Wahoo just want the same as my loaded route in the Wahoo app! No idea what happened, but it did make the ride very interesting!! 😂

It was a Belgian Bun, but they do look a bit like boobies!! 😂😋 I’m not sure how I stayed on the saddle, as they’re not the smoothest cobbles in the world!!!
