I think it's like muscle or cell memory. Your soul has a lifetime of incredible memories/routines/patterns of closeness to your mom and your body is still responding to those memories the way it has your whole life, even though she's no longer physically here. And honestly, that's a blessing. I feel like that's how she'd want you to start healing - in HAPPY ways full of the same energy you had when she was by your side. It's really good to see you staying so active, Chad. It's essential for not just your own health and longevity, but in healing your heart. I was assessing a lot of my toy collection last night - what can go, what will always need to stay, and thought of you and wondered if you're also letting go of any of that too as you grow into this different stage of your life. It was equal parts hard, but therapeutic surprisingly, lol.

Aw yes I like that explanation..cause I sure got nothing! Yes I’ve really slowed down my my collecting, I’m still getting some of the designer Disney dolls, but not much else. That part of my life was great but I’ve just been losing interest in buying a bunch of merchandise and gaining interest in..well running and more life activities.

I think your mom will always be with you. She was such a happy, energetic lady and she's passed that on. ❤️ (Also, great idea for a goose villain 😁)

So proud of you. You are doing awesome! I could never run that much (mostly cause my lungs don’t like me very much) but I envy you!! That is so awesome. But regarding your mom- grief is a weird process cause one second you think you’re doing okay then something small could trigger you (which is okay- you need to feel your feelings) but I honestly believe that in those moments our loved ones are with us and helping us move through the pain.. thinking about ya. ❤️

I can tell you that yes I have had those very same sensations, I lost both parents a year apart, my mom when I was 16, (1982) and 1 year later, my father. (Cancer) to both. In the last 16 year's I have lost 2 sisters to cancer and a husband to heart attack. I believe that those feelings during a memory are our loved ones touching us during that moment. I think we are always connected, and they can find ways to let us know it during our life. After all, only the body has left, not the soul, which lives on and can truly be happy and touch us all in the most profound ways. I actually have proof of this. Too long to post here but let me know if you ever want to hear this story. It's quite extraordinary.

I 100% understand what you mean, I lost my sister when I was 10 and even though shes been gone 21 years I always feel like shes with me, its like I just sense shes there sometimes. When I was really sick and dying the first time back in 2013 I actually kept telling my mom “Mariann says I need to get to the hospital now or I am going to die” i am pretty sure she should I was crazy and was trying to no panic. I was really sick and was slipping into a coma but I had emergency surgery and what freaked me out was when I woke up the doctor said to me “thankfully you got here when you did, you had just minutes left” i believe my sister truly got me to the hospital in time, that and the police escort and emts of course, but I could just feel her and hear her. It was a crazy experience. Also a group of geese is called a gaggle not a flock lol

Having lost my brother when I was young girl and other family members I was very close too, it is weird feeling you get some time. I get dreams of seeing them again I know the dreams are not memories. I still get little emotion about my brother and grandma's death sometime, it been years still they pass away, even more with my brother.

I don't understand what you said very well ☺,but I can say that people who were close to us in life, they still are with us in some way(spiritually) 🙂.I do believe it cause I kinda "feel" my sister too in thoughts and dreams about her,and every goal I have the opportunity to accomplish 😀.So,you're not crazy,Chad 😁😁,and... the most important, you're not alone, handsome guy(I really hope it can help you a little bit, at least 😅🙂) 😌😌😉.Hugs. 😘😊
