I will admit, I absolutely loved this game from the combat and story to the graphics. There was really only 1 thing that stood out to me and hampered me replaying it as many times as I do other games and that is the lack of rewards. Most survival horror games will reward beating the game whether it's a new suit, new gun, infinite ammo or credits to spend on the next but Callisto Protocol doesn't seem to have any regardless of difficulty. A reward to use on the next playthrough imo would have gone a long way.

@@UFCWWE69 I liked God of War more mainly because you could do at your own difficulty of choice and with your own build. This had the same loop of stasis throw some enemies to a wall or off a cliff, then kill rest with Melee to save ammo (until you reach chapter 6, which it then changes to an awful stealth section mainly).

I will never care what anyone says about this game. This game was a solid 9/10 for me. I had a blast playing this when it was free on Ps Plus in October of 2023. And I got the platinum. I'd play an entire trilogy of these EASILY

You can play the whole game on easy and do all the side thing you need to do, and by the end of the game where you have to run to the escape pods, just change the difficulty to maximum and you'll get the hardest difficulty achievement

How did you get the Maximum Dificulty one? I know there was an exploit, which I didn't use, and then there was a patch that might have glitched the trophy. I just finished the game on maximum difficulty legitimately and the trophy isn't triggering. I'm on PS4. It's literally the only trophy I'm missing outside of the Platinum.

I am a Dead Space fan, essentially my favorite game franchise and second to star wars for me, and I genuinely liked Callisto Protocol. I just finished my second playthrough and it was as good as the previous one, sure first time was rough because the difficulty spikes caught me flat footed but I soon pushed past them. I know it has issues with performance but that's really not a big complaint for me, it is what it is, RE4 has some of the shitiest controls I've ever used but people still love and play the game.

The callisto protocol does a lot of things right and a lot of things wrong. As a whole, the game is good. Definitely could have done some things better but the things it does right, it really stands out and flourishes.

I had a lot of fun with this game on normal for my first run. More fun, but a challenge on my second hardcore run. And I was absolutely livid when I finished the game with every trophy but the one saying I beat the game on hardcore, which I did. Amazing devs! 😊 Time to restart the game A THIRD TIME for a trophy I ALREADY earned. YAY!

Maximum security isn't too bad honestly! I found plenty of ammo and health along the way and since you can save whenever you want it's pretty forgiving. I'd love to do deadspace I'm for sure doing the remake

@@TannerJaye Yeah, as of 1.07. There was some glitch where people could switch the difficulty to max after playing the game on easy to get an achievement, and in an attempt to patch it they broke it all together. Waiting for another patch to fix.

hey does any one know how i can fix this glitch in god of war ragarnok I was just playing than my power went out and my ps4 turned off and when i loaded it back up everything was fine expect when i press continue it just brought me back to the title screen it made me really pissed because i almost got the platinum and i was 4 hours away from finshing the platinum and yes i tried deleting it and reinstalling, deleting my save, start new game and then load my save nothing worked please someone help me i spent 50 hours on that save

I got halfway through the game before realizing I missed a collectable, restarted the story, spent 5 hours getting back to where I was, saved and went to bed, woke up and loaded the game up and realized my last collectible glitched and didn't register and it completely ruined my motivation to get the platinum.

I wonder if people remember the small detail in the "on sale" trade. Because Dead Space 2 sold a lot of copies, but most while on sale. This "justified" EA's stupid intervention on 3, therefore fucking up what could've been a great game for the sake of "sales" which ended up being even lower.

Call me crazy but I played this without comparing it to Dead Space except in minor reference points like the save points and work stations and enjoyed the game. My only issues were no New Game Plus as after clearing it.

This game was easy to platinum. The hardest difficulty isnt even difficult, you just get less ammo and enemies have slightly more health. That’s really it.
