I had no one to leave my kids with when I went to Saudi, I rent a house for them - Mary Ann

Metha ya Kagoni

2 жыл бұрын

After years of an abusive marriage, Mary Ann decides to call it quits. To support her children, she decides to look for the opportunities in the UAE but has no one to leave her kids with. She says that her own mother refused to look after her children.
Almost five years in the UAE now, Mary Ann decided to send her kids to boarding school and when they close, she rents a house for them and entrusts them to the care of a house help. In this show, MaryAnn helps us to look at this thorny issue of women who are leaving their children behind to go to foreign countries for the wellbeing of the same children!

Wamuratha should not be a point of reference. She is an oppressed African woman , oppressed by religious patriachy and masogany with no background or education on African Trauma. She is causing damage with he ill informed advise she gives in public which usually end with the woman being blamed. Women in Kenya do what they do to feed their kids and you have other women criticizing them. Don't listen to people with no background to give advise other than the fact that they r popular. Its unfortunate. Trauma is an issue for Africans and only informed and educated people on this matter should be allowed to offer advise and remedy. Seek counseling for those kids and find out why they don't want to go back to boarding. These r institutions of trauma. I'm sure there is a reason why. Pole sana.

Try taking the kids to Ahadi schools. Many kids, whose parents are not available, remain in the school and are taken care of as if they are at home. It's a Christian school.
