Lost my mom six years ago, she couldn't stand the pain and suffering from her MS. The feeling sensation her body constantly was burning. After two years she decided to put an end to all this and told us, her kids she is gonna leave this earth. She gave us all (her family) the chance to give her an appropriate last farewell. That's tough, that's life, to all of you that have a living parent/s, please don't forget to give them a simple call and tell them you love them or just have a short conversation. If this song were released at the time we attended the funeral, I would without a blink, 100% gone with this poem/masterpiece. Thanks Dax for this, love from Sweden! One of my best memories of my mom was the day i graduated Marine Corps Bootcamp and all the families were coming off the bleachers to hug their kids and my mom walked right by me because she didnt recognize me and when she saw me and how much weight i had lost in 3 months (50lbs), she hugged me and told me she was never more proud of me. I needed to hear this. My mom past away four years ago due to cancer. I know she isn't suffering anymore, but I remember her working just to make sure food was on the table, roof over our heads. She also tried to help take care of her brothers and sisters and her mom (Nana) before she went home to Jesus. She carried a lot on her shoulders but, one thing I know, she didn't want me, my brother or sister to sit around crying because she's gone. She wanted us to have our time to mourn then get on our damn feet and move forward. I know I'm sharing too much but, I know how it feels to not be able to call or just go to her to get a hug. Wow we grew up the same, my grandfather was the man in my life. My grandmother raised us while my mom worked multiple jobs. I lost my mom 3 years ago to cancer. She was 54. Shout out to my dad, my mom abandoned me at 6 months old, my dad has done everything he needed we were poor but I had a roof and I had enough food to survive and everything he sacrificed for me that I didn't understand as a kid, looking back on it as an adult he did more than he ever should have he taught me things that WERE PRICELESS. I am so proud that everyone has a mother like this. I dont my dad raised me my sister and my baby brother cause she was never around. She was always running around on my dad. My dad did awesome raising us kids. We have full respect toward everybody. None of us kids have never cussed our parents. My wife and kids are going threw a lot right now and some of it has something to do with my mother.
