Thanks for sharing, Rachel. I’m so sorry your friend is suffering and send healing, warm, virtual hugs to both of you. Going to the woods is healing, particularly if you can go alone, when something is laying on your heart. The feeling of being nestled, held, really, by the natural world is so healthy. Just allowing yourself to be with whatever is happening is freeing. Loved and agree with your kind, gentle message. Be well my friend. You don’t even know me, but you feel like someone who would be my friend. 🙏

My husband says it's so much easier to be nice and kind to ppl than it is too be judgemental or disrespectful. He is 100% right. It costs you nothing to be kind and give someone a smile. We have no idea what struggles they may be dealing with. Your word of kindness may be what helps them get through their day. It may give them the strength to move forward and recognize that angels come in all forms. As an example, I was at the store and I was picking up some half n half There was a somewhat older woman next to me. She had the door open and was calling back into the cooler area to see if there was someone there to help her. Clearly she needed help with something. I asked her what she needed. There was a gallon of almond milk that she couldn't reach. I bent down and got it for her. She was so thankful! I made the comment that I should've said a prayer while I was down on my knees-her response- God hears you no matter what! It cost me nothing to help her she sure blessed me with that memory and reminded me that there are so so many ppl who believe as I believe. Angels, indeed, come in all forms. Blessings to you Racheal and your friend. 🙏♥️

Well our anxiety is so high with how our our government, and world is creating so much hate and it is affecting us all financially and emotionally. It is so hard to enjoy retirement with so much anxiety around us. I try, believe me I try hard to not let it bother me, but inside I have fear of what is to come.

Thank you for your message today. I needed to hear this as I was just verbally attacked today for standing up for my granddaughters rights. I wanted to scream back at the person but I didn't and walked off in tears and later thought what a weak spined person I was. Now I see by keeping my thoughts to myself and not acting as they did I made the right choice. Yes the tears kept flowing for a bit but I prayed for the other person. Rachel, I think it was a blessing I turned on utube tonight. I'm in Little Rock Arkansas as a volunteer. I have 12 hour shifts. We volunteers are strong and hold our emotions in. Tonight I got to my hotel and cried and cried. These poor people are homeless due to tornadoes. We try to help but often feel hopeless. I see such fear of tomorrow in their eyes. They don't know where they will end up at or when. The Red Cross has over 1000 people in motels for shelters. Please people when you see people less fortunate than u, don't judge. Rachel your points were very clear. STOP judging! Some folks have nothing that's why they are dirty, no home, no cars. Also, when u see volunteers out, let them know they are appreciated. Share a smile or a kind word. If you can't say something nice, say nothing. People are hurting. People have misplaced anger. Try to just find peace within and help each other. Bless all, God is good😇❤😇

I have given everyone that I had mentioned food when they were sick so I felt used and unloved. I went to church today and talked to Pastor and he said my sermon today will help you and I will pray for you. Philippians chapter 4. I felt better and will continue to heal from those negative feelings. God Bless I needed this

Rachel, I'm sorry your dear friend is going through such a difficult trial in her life right now. I pray that the peace that surpasses all understanding come down upon her situation and that she is set free the pain and bondage afflicting her life. You mentioned the word "trauma" and oh boy, the Lord certainly knew what he was doing when he laid some things upon your heart. Trauma can be so deep-rooted in a person, in a family, in a society, that we rarely see the "good" from all the pain that we deeply hide. Kindness is the answer. Kindness and prayer. Thank you for sharing your heart and heeding God's calling to speak. (HUGS from Arkansas)

Really great talk, Rachael. More Christians need to be talking more...spreading our hope, our known faults, our love for others; even when we cannot identify with their woes. I think when we share how we feel we give others the knowledge that they can get through their struggles too. We don't have the same struggles in life, but EVERYBODY does struggle, it's just a different story. 💜 I miss my Michigan.

Ah Rachel. I could really relate to your message. I recently had someone hurt much feelings and it effected me to the core. So painful and I cannot talk it out with this person. My technique is to write letters to this person and burn them rather than mail them. This process took me nearly 2 weeks and six letters to bring all of my feelings to a place where I could deal with them. Maybe this will work for someone else.

As someone who has gone thru an extremely personal tragedy and the criticisms about the way I handled the situation was more insult to injury. I wish people could be more compassionate and have more empathy for others. I lost my youngest son in a motorcycle wreck when he was 20 years old. I shut down, didn't to talk to anyone unless absolutely necessary. I can't imagine adding social media to the mix, this was in 2001. I tell others you don't get over it you become more experienced with dealing with the grief. TFS 🙏👼🥰👍

Oh Rachel. Thank you so much. I needed this, this morning. We have to be a Jesus example for the people who need it the most. We just have no idea what demons someone is fighting. The last 3 years have been a huge upheaval in so many lives. We all have our stories to tell. Emotional Healing has been my focus for the last 30 years in my practice as a Naturopath. People need to share what's in their hearts and they must feel safe doing it. Sharing on KZbin is so much more difficult than bearing your sole to an individual who you know will protect your feelings. This has got to be my favourite video of yours. You had me very emotional throughout. When trauma hits, however it manifests, we often struggle to just put one foot in front of the other to even continu to exist and the last thing one needs is to be judged. For some, the best help they can provide is to just shutup if have nothing helpful or nice to say. We all need to do better at being human and compassionate, there is always room for improvement. BIG thumbs-up!
