The need for revenge would be put on back burner as he would be more concerned for his children and their future. Once he got help for them he sorted himself out coming to terms with the tragedy. Revenge is counter productive and it doesn't solve anything. I thank God he is a strong man and he has coped admirably.

What a traumatic experience to go through, to actually listen to your loved one being attacked and murdered, not knowing if his kids were ok and being so helpless must have been absolutely awful. My fionce was tortured to death for a week. Battered,, spiked with copious amounts of LSD and terrified by his perpetrator fir fun told witches and bad men are after hum, I saw him on the last day, purple blue bruises head to feet, unable to walk except on all fours, his purple bruised hands unable to even hold a spoon, he had a 5th his brain left. He was so petrified. I cannot get over the cruelty i witnessed. He was kicked around the floor while i was made to watch. I never got any help . None. My ptsd is off the scale. After 5 years i got EMDR Trauma therapy, it helped a lot but i only had a few months before funding stopped. My family sisters etc disowned us, ashamed of " what neighbours would think" i stead of support. I envy daniel the supportive family friends and therapy. God bless him i know what its like.
