Skeezer actually came from cocaine/crack, because coke used to be called "ski" in the '70s and '80s... ski, of course, is in reference to snow skis. Cocaine was also called "snow," so it transitioned to "ski." So a skeezer was a street walker addicted to cocaine or crack who was willing to give you sexual favors in exchange for that ski. A lot of rappers in the '80s had "ski" in their names... i.e. Joeski Love and Lovebug Starski. Because they were advertising that they were DOPE. Dope is another name for drugs, of course. Coke is a drug. That's where it all came from... Shout out to Brother ?uestlove.

Ed lover is a true legend, a giant in his field. Hip-hop music history is so deep and rich and vibrant. From its inception, it is so sad to see it turn into the garbage we see now, But that was done purposely🤷🏿
