I wonder if treatment varies between provinces. kzn, cape, joburg? My daughter-in-law in Copenhagen is going through 1st line treatment in Denmark. Now radiation for lumpectomy and another milder chemo until July 2024 every 3 weeks. Just to maintain and reduce recurrence for by 10% No payment in denmark. They even pay for the wigs. If you finished your treatment after 10 yrs they were unaware that different sub types of breast cancer ?

For God's sake everyone get on a ketogenic diet and look into taking parasite drugs like Fenbendazole. Go listen to Dr. Thomas Seyfried on KZbin. You can starve out cancer with a ketogenic diet and parasite drugs like Fenbendazole and ivermectin and other parasite drugs that are good at killing cancer and they are very safe with years of great safety profiles. A ketogenic diet will heal the body not destroy it and those parasite drugs are very safe to take and wouldn't destroy your organs or cause cancer down the line. The chemo and radiation and immuno therapies are poison and for most people they don't work.

Adjusting the dosage can help in lessening so let your doctors know. Keep feet and hands moisturized. I used “Udderly Smooth” 3-4 times a day. Affordable and can be purchase on Amazon. I went through almost 3 jars but really helped. May you and your loved ones feel blessed and loved this holiday season. Virtual hugs to you sweet girl!💕

I’ve worked in a chemo infusion centre for 40 years . The new hospital was clinical minded where your old hospital takes the holistic approach where treatment , emotional , physical, and to a lot of patients social. Treating our patients because we care about them and their families too. I fully understand what you are saying about the hospital for the trial it’s very clinical. I’m in Australia and our unit has been given the best chemo Unit for the last 5 years and it’s the patient care which is the most important thing to patients. Even being on first name basis when you arrive because we know our patients as we take time with each individual

Hi 👋 Samantha. Thank you 🙏🏼 for the update. I’ve been on Xeloda (Capecitabine) and also the oral chemo pill 💊 Tukysa for almost 3 years. The Xeloda I take is 500mg each. 2 in the morning 2 at night. My regimen originally was 3 weeks on, one week off. Now it’s 2 weeks on, and 1 week off. The Tukysa I take everyday with no breaks. I’ve had what’s called “Hand & foot syndrome”. I’ve tried all kinds of creams, lotions etc. My feet, heals especially and toes and toenails are often red and painful. Dry and flaky skin. I also had tongue sores and also had severe blisters on my lips too. My dosages have been adjusted and I do the best I can with it. Aquaphor helps a lot. I sincerely hope Xeloda works well for you. I can’t believe your daughter is almost one 🙂. Wishing you, your husband and your daughter a blessed holiday season. 💙🩷💚🎗️🙏🏼

I'n a colon and cervical cancer survivor and also a rebustered nurse/midwife. I understanf your frustration. You have to understand that every scan carries risks as well, so they arent going to do the initial trial scan then another directly befire starting the trial. I also think its unlikely that the new tumours wouid have been suddenly visible within 2 weeks. 2 weeks to start a trial is about as quick as it gets due to the legal/admin involved, plus the drugs are made to order. I'm so sorry that so many youngsters like yourself are dealing with cancer 😢 🙏
@SamanthaL11 ай бұрын
Yeah I know it would be extremely unlikely that it would’ve even grown that fast which is why the current system works fine. I just think it could happen and it possibly did based on all my symptoms and my labs (I didn’t mention that in the video but certain markers spiked wayyy up in that time. Could’ve been inflammation but still). I know a scan 2 weeks later would’ve been dumb to do and wouldn’t have wanted that. I just think it would’ve been nice to start treatment earlier especially since they can get answer about whether I’m approved in 24-48 hours

So I am trying not to fret too much, and I always take my lead from you and stay calm and wait for the results before I get upset. With Christmas in-between I will try to concentrate on being festive meanwhile! Samantha I have been praying for you so much! I was recently diagnosed with hormone +, Her2- BC, and had a double mast last w SGAP flap reconstruction last May. My DCIS was found during a breast reduction and then another kind, invasive lobular, was found during my mastectomy, thankfully it was only 4mm. It is sneaky and hard to see on scans. A blessing I decided on the double mastectomy. I am not going to take those hormone blockers, I know ladies on those and the quality of life not great. Had a clear mammogram prior to the breast reduction surgery. It is so hard to find a good medical oncology team. It is true, some make you feel like a non-person. So glad you have a great team that you trust and that also help to lift your spirits. That is so important. I am being monitored via blood tests and tumor marker tests. Looking into natural treatments and for another medical oncologist. I am a retired nurse, so I do my own research, the oncologist team did not take too kindly to that. Continued prayers for you and your sweet family. Awesome your daughter is turning one and walking. What a fun age.
