You misunderstood Julie. She's been using that technique for a long time now. She performs the most among all of them so she preserves her voice a lot. She can belt all she wants but her voice is her career so she protects it. I love Julie but I do agree when you said that she's not singing in her natural style. Her voice itself suits this song like the other singers on this performance, but her current technique doesn't suit the song that much. I agree with the unnecessary growl that she did. I just don't hear her usually growl that much when she sings and it just sounds very unnatural on her. SHE HAS A POWERFUL VOICE and I SUPER LOVE her Full Chest Voice during SOP/Party Pilipinas days. I know she's gotten older and needs to protect her voice, but I do wish that when a specific song requires her to sing in her old technique, she does it instead of doing her new technique. There are still good parts in her performance here, but I wish it's more consistent. If she wants to try Rachel Ann Go's style, she should try harder. Maybe it's time to realize that she is unique in her own old technique. Gosh, I miss it so much. P.S You can't call her one dimensional tho. She can sing really well and her voice is versatile. @@Serafina_moonlit i love julie..ive been following her eversince popstar kids...she may have gotten sickness on this perf, but her other perfs? i dont think so...eversince she learned that technique she's been using it even if the song requires her to use full voice..like i said its okay but i dont really feel satisfied kapag yan gamit niya for songs like this...and like i said she could pull it off...and dami na niya nakantang gamit ang full voice..it was satisfying...and how could i support such perf nga kung di ako nasatisfy..well, her mixed voice is really rich..she should use it kapag broadway songs ang kinakanta nya..got my point?

Requesting GMA na ibigay ang ibang shows ni Julie sa ibang singers ng GMA at kung may mga events si Julie ay sila nalang din ang sumalo para makapag pahinga naman si Julie at para maka "belt" ng maayos na walang halong mixed voice. Ibigay nalang sa ibang walang ganap para mag focus nalang si Julie sa pagiging biritera nya, dahil yun naman ang basehan ng karamahin para maturing kang MAGALING NA SINGER.

Actually di naman ganon ka dami ganap ni Julie sa gma eh halos lahat it’s her own ganap like public/private events promotion o kaya guest sa concerts hindi naman siya umaasa sa gma and she doesn’t need to rely on them to stay on top but I agree kung yan ang magpapasaya sa iba lumipat na lang sana si Julie
