It’s crazy I try all these same fade jump tactics but they literally never work for me lol I’m on console so maybe it’s different but I really wanna utilize these fades

i don't think so. but with other heroes some of these techs dont work so maybe. for example, rez and slow fall are same button for mercy and a lot of ball techs dont work on console, or maybe i havent tried hard enough lol

from what i can tell is he used the map to his advantage. fade jumped on the curved thing which boosted him higher up

so, at 1:20 ish you didnt focus on the bap lamp. why is that? I know you killed him but what was the implication to the decision to continue damaging bap over the lamp?

If I had to guess, you can hear Bap use his regen abilities right before Arx faded. Regen and lamp only last 5 seconds each. Orb is on cool down. It looks like Arx is just making sure Bap is continuous minimum health rather than wasting damage per second potential on a lamp that will expire shortly 🤔 which makes so much sense and makes me rethink my Moira and Bap choices going forward.

It takes Moira 3 seconds to kill a lamp. Baptiste will get 2 seconds or so of support passive healing and could get his shift at any moment. Plus I will get no self-sustain from attacking the lamp so my health will go down as he's shooting me. It just doesn't make much sense to kill the lamp first in a 1v1 situation vs a Bap with Moira, it just takes too long and losing the self-healing for 3 seconds is rough.

Because otherwise the support passive will kick in and he won't die to a Moira rightclick, it's much better to keep him on 1hp till either the lamp dies or someone else joins and breaks the lamp

I still hate this map though. Honestly thinking up titles is the hardest thing. Sometimes I'm just lazy!

i agree. it think it's because for first and last push point of the map it's very open, easy to be caught in the open and sniped by widow or hanzo, and moira doesnt have good range probably riskier for that support role. i thought they would be stuck on the first part of map because of widow, luckily she didnt get much value from map (i think) also the last part of map i think the layout is horrible for attacking team idk
