Anyone who thinks some deck is hateful is nonsense. There is no deck have to be hated. Only exits the difference if you can play or play against a deck well. You should blame your skill and horn it better rather than shout: what a trash deck! or: what a rubbish game! (Actually myself was such an awful guy, but not anymore.) It’s not any deck’s fault. It’s yours! By the way, kingsbade is a great deck. It combines weapon and mill rouge, and more important, it need tons of skill to play well, more than any other deck on this environment. I’ve watched Kolento’s play and being shocked. Definitely recommend. Add: I don’t think Toast REALLY hates kingsbade. No pro player will really hates any deck. He’s just half kidding, obviously.

I just wanted to viciously murder every warlock I see, so I started the King's bane adventure. And I am utterly enjoying it! And getting rid of big pesky priests along the way. :) And WHY do I want to do it? There is no true control anymore in this game. Either play this op deck that relies on big minions that get resummoned all the time or play this other deck that negates the downside of demon discard and otks you at some point. Don't care about aggro, but the "control" decks of now are sooo out of control that they deserve to get demolished, by something as uninteractive as King's bane Rogue. DESERVE IT! :) - Saying this as a Priest main since GvG till recent times.

Josh Rawlins 'Similar'. In Kingsbane rogue, your main goal is against control is really just to mill all of their cards so they they can't have fun lol. Sure, quest mage is un interactive because of freeze, but it's super easy to counter and actually requires more thought.

I'm not sure about the more thought aspect. There is a lot of thought behind when to use which removal, how to monitor your own hand size and when to use buffs having not drawn the weapon. Kingsmill is easy to counter as well: aggro, freeze, reverse mill, gnomeferatu and well timed weapon removal. I'm not going to argue that both decks are the same in every aspect, but both work by denying your opponent the opportunity to play the game, whether by freezing their entire board or burning their cards.

Thematically it makes no sense that lifesteal heals for total attack damage If you hit for 10, but attack into something with 4 life, where did that extra 6 life come from for you to steal? This is honestly the thing that bugs me most about kingsbane, and lifesteal in general; mechanic with major thematic flaw that allows it to be busted. Also did toast not even notice that his opponent conceded? I get why he conceded (stream sniping, yadda yadda) but i wouldve expected a reaction Kingsbane, quest mage, and cube make me want to pull my hair out and thats all i keep running into. Was 1 win away from 15 (i know im a scrub) then had about 8 games in a row against either quest/secret mage, and kingsbane (i play a control priest variant so those matchups are next to impossible)

Mill Rogue is far "worse" than either of those decks, because both of those decks actually interact with you in a meaningful way. Don't get me wrong, Cubelock is also an uninteractive deck that's unhealthy for the game, but it doesn't completely ignore the board state and play from hand in the way Mill Rogue does. Cubelock can always pull a win out its ass in a way that feels unfair, but at least you get to play the game. Queuing into Mill Rogue as any slow deck results in you watching the Mill Rogue hijack the match and play an entirely different game that you are not invited to. At best, playing against a Mill Rogue requires a ton of experience that's useless outside of the match-up, at its worst, there's literally nothing you can do to win. Edit: I should probably point out that I'm not butthurt about Mill Rogue, and actually enjoy playing against it most of it most of the time. If we're talking about design, however, Mill Rogue is the worst offender out there. Lastly, there isn't anything wrong with Murloc Pally. It's strong, but it's not unfair. If you aren't queuing with a deck that can stand up to it, that's a choice you've made as a player, not faulty game balance.

You wait until he throws the kings bane in the deck while it's empty (cause removing the weapon most likely wouldn't work since he would have sent another kingsbane in the deck, you gotta be sure the kingsbane is th buffed one and that it's the only card), then boom, gnomeferatu. That's actually clever. He might avoid fatigue but a 1/3 weapon (without even life steal) is useless. Oh my, thank you, I should have thought about that.

But you're right, if they ever let their deck empty, that's the play. So you keep both ajd either just play the gnome or play both

I believe he stated that the Disguised Toast 2 channel is mainly for highlights from his stream, which I at least like since he streams nearly 5-6 hours a day, while his main channel is for special interactions, combos, bugs, and other things of the sort that is unrelated to his Twitch stream. I have to disagree. The concept of infinite is ridiculous. Jade Idols you could counter with Geist, but lifesteal high attack weapon you can only counter with gnomeferatu (and you have to be lucky on Geist his weapon BEFORE he enhances it). I think the weapon should use once only.

infinitySmile Lol Hardly. You think Rogues are going to care if they pay 3 mana in a turn to stop themselves for milling? Half the time they play Shinyfinder on 2 to get the weapon to play turn 3 anyway, which they can then squidface on 4. It slows the deck down just enough to allow other decks to deal with it. Increasing it by 2 is hardly a “Ruining” Of a card when they don’t play anything relevant on 3 half the time, and in the late game, they’re generally only paying the mana to equip Kingsbane anyway.

gilga03 gig It's the same with the other decks I detest. Take the old pirate warrior for example. Not sure if you know this a not, but a lot of thought went in to playing that deck. especially against control with Reno in standard. Do I want to use all of my burst damage quickly and try to ignore the Reno possibility? Maybe it's best to same my higher tier minions like korkron and Leeroy after the fact, that way I don't just loose automatically. Do I let this doomsayer go off in exchange for breaking their Ice block or do I try and keep my board around for a bit longer. Maybe I don't want to use my heroic strike to kill the doomsayer because of exactly Reno Jackson. Ive only played Pirate warrior once and it was harder than expected. Then again, that could just be because I'm so used to control decks. Anyway, just because a deck has a lot of decision making, doesn't mean it isn't extremely unfun to play against, hence the reason why so many people hate mill rogue. It's literally just a deck that stops your opponent from having fun with their own cards. (Unless you're like me and made a control deck that completely counters and demolishes mill rogue. :P N'zoth Warrior with a ton of its own cards draw and dead man's hand, skulking geist, and spell breaker makes mill cry~)
