About the Game:
Lies of P is an action role-playing video game developed by Neowiz Games and Round8 Studio, and published by Neowiz Games.
Inspired by Carlo Collodi's novel The Adventures of Pinocchio, Lies of P tells the story Pinocchio, a robotic "puppet". However, unlike other puppets, Pinocchio has the capability to lie, which will play a role during important story decisions.
Puppets were invented in the city of Krat thanks to the discovery of a revolutionary power source, Ergo, underneath the city. Puppets soon became ubiquitous throughout the city, performing most of the menial labor for the populace. Foremost among the puppet inventors is the legendary Geppetto, who created Pinocchio. In order to ensure that Puppets would not be a threat, all puppets were bound to the Grand Covenant, which forbids puppets from lying or attacking humans. However, despite this, one day the puppets revolt, slaughtering most of the human population of Krat.
In addition to the puppets, Krat also suffers from the mysterious Petrification Disease which blinds its victims before fully petrifying and destorying them. There currently is no known cure to the disease.

It doesn’t matter how many times you fail as long as you beat it in the end! These games are brutal but feel so rewarding to beat. I love lies of p and bloodborne but absolutely hate demons souls, could not get into that game at all. I need to give dark souls 2 another try

Mati, check out shot put. It's a theowable item. When the enemy gets the staggerable health bar, just throw a shot put at him - immediadely staggers him.

I always find it interesting which bosses are harder or easier for others. This boss with my build for some reason was a breeze, but I really struggled with others. Regardless another amazing entry into this series.

Strength build slaps all of them. Feels like Eredim from Mortal Shell. All can be cheesed with throwables, stack damage, & properly leveled weapons/arm & related gear.

I loved that you kept the dancing to the record in the video! The records are a vibe. I put on my most recent record to play while I did my thing at hotel krat, got some good dialogue from NPC unexpectedly and the music in the BG made it so magical next level feeling!

I actually loved this boss. The first phase is great for parrying and staying close to him, while the second felt really easy if you just... dodge. Some parries here and there. Don't play the game like it's sekiro. I made that mistake for a little bit. Also, wish he used that dancers saber he got last episode. I'm using it and it feels really good and is great for a technique build with some motivity. Pretty good damage

Especially when you pretty much have what you need to beat the game, the late game items didn’t so much for my build. Still, I really enjoyed it far more than I thought I would 👍

FromSoftware está a años luz de sus emulaciones, si alguien logra innovar son ellos, eso es así. Y tampoco creo que haya mucho que sacar nuevo, Elden Ring fue lo definitivo en ese aspecto, el Souls al mundo abierto, ya está todo creado como se suele decir. En lo que “innova” por decirlo de alguna manera Lies of P, es en la calidad de su historia, ya que otros Soulslike no es que sean la divina comedia en ese aspecto, algunos son completamente olvidables en cuanto a su historia. En eso sí que destaca sobre sus demás competidores

Mild "Spoilers" a head in terms of Tips for the Boss, don't read on If you want to find the best strategies yourself. Got some Tips for those still struggeling, the Attack that Mati never avoided... you have to stay close to the Boss. You can tell if to stay close or far, if you pay attention if the Boss crouches down or stands up straight while sucking in Air. Low-get away, high - stay close. And another Tip, for Phase 2, and discovering this to me felt nearly like a Cheat - Dodge to the front and left, between 10 and 11 o'clock. This takes away so much pressure from the Boss, and sprinting to the Boss after dodging enables you to consistendly hit the Boss 2-3 Times... the Dodge to the front is a good way to fight a lot of enemies in this game I found. Good luck and have fun.

47:57 - in case anyone is struggling with this, you have to get close to the boss in order to avoid getting hit. The other AOE is immediately around him and has a short range, the tornado has a huge range but a safe zone immediately around the boss. Took me way too long to figure that out, but it's counterable once you know how it works. In fact, the first time Mati encountered that move in this video, he avoided it by being close.

Got past this guy recently. Could really wreck the first form but second phase was crazy. The speed, damage, and constant attack really wasn’t expected. But like any Souls game, you just get that one fight where everything clicks and what was a roadblock gets beat easier than you thought. Enjoy watching you slog through this. We are at about the same spot in the game. Looking forward to what is next! EDIT: Despite how brutal this fight was, this is my favorite boss so far. Second phase reminds me of Orphan of Kos, which my favorite from Bloodborne.

This boss is awesome, up there with laxasia and swamp monster on the difficulty. Simon and nameless puppet is ridiculously easy tho. However for ng+ the last 3 bosses got buffed pretty hard. Last 3 bosses was pretty challenging on ng+.

I have to say, watching til now, playing at heavy (even slightly) load REALLY makes the fights more difficult, because of the slow stamina recover. He did beat the game already, I know, but could've been a little "easier" at some parts. Anyways, great gameplay, as always ^^

I struggled with this one but not because I found it hard. It was because pre-nerf phase 1 had more health and with my build it took forever to kill, which ended in me getting bored of repeting it every time, and going all in to get it done faster, losing more Cells on the process, thus having less healing for practice phase 2 😅😂

Btw awesome vid! Congrats on the victory! And also remember you can mix weapons. Since you only used that weapon because of the electroshock damage, you could have switched the handle to get a better/more comfortable moveset, better range or better scaling for your stats!

Romeo seems to have some history with P here. He talks pretty casually at first, and calls you "Buddy" and stuff. That little performance before the boss suggests that Geppetto made you by taking a heart out of a real kid and placing it into a puppet body, which would explain why you're so special, why Geppetto had such a strong reaction to the picture of that kid, and why he seems so enamored with you in particular. In addition, Romeo's necklace has the initial C., and he referenced someone named Carlo in his dialogue, seemingly talking to P. Geppetto also inexplicably appeared after the boss fight for no apparent reason. In addition, we have some references that what they're doing is in accordance with the Grand Covenant and beneficial to humans. All in all, Geppetto is looking real sus in my eyes. Also also, I like the "burnt-white king" name cuz it sounds like DS2's Burnt Ivory King.
