I hate those DoT elites af. They dont give my team energy, counter attack trigger and Acheron's ult stack. At least gepard can still provide stack for Acheron IF I make Kafka action advance every time I can and have her attack Gepard as many as possible (she triggered DoT like hell and my Gepard needed revival trait). I still got 80k AFTER many attempt restarting when I saw a character go from 100% + shield to 0 real quick.

Thanks. You kinda have to use DoT for this PF, luckily break DoTs can trigger the buff. On the flip side, you’re fcked if you don’t use DoT or Himeko, the buff became useless, and retroactively makes you take more damage because it advance the enemies turns.

pf is you having to clear as much mobs as possible before you run out of cycles which means that erudition (aoe), fua and dot teams are meta there due to them either able to damage multiple enemies at once, or have action/dmg dealing passives outside their own turns what makes pf hard is how demanding it is to characters, if you only have hunt/single-target units built ur basically fucked the highly specific-triggering req for those lantern thingies (i dont know how to call em in english bc i use chinese language lmao) is your only saving grace at fully clearing them stages because they give cracked buffs/do cracked dmg that can basically kill a wave of enemies, but it doesn't help that it has specific requirements (do enough fua dmg, activate fua 3 times etc) to activate all in all pf kind of sucks because you need to have the chars built for it which of course, isnt alot

Legit the first time in a while that I needed to take a sustain in pure fiction, those first half enemy DOTs are not a joke. I'm quite lucky that I built almost every nihility character (with the exception of Luka) for Kafka, so I manged to split them between nodes (Black swan and Guinaifen in the first, Kafka and Sampo in the second. In all honesty I can't imagine how else somebody could manage to clear the current pure fiction without DOT characters.

First half is legitimate harder than second half. The fact that the enemies can gain action advance really stack those DoTs really fast. Any more than that it’ll be an Aventurine check.

surprisingly, abundance is not good for dots (i think cleanse is what set them apart from preservation as sustains). even huo huo struggled to cleanse. i just think preservation is so much better for sustains, especially Aventurine, with his effect res. however, huo huo have the best buffs as a sustain.

Gl, I rec using Himeko and herta like all other PF, but especially for first part, since Himeko does really well if your able to break fast, like with a Ruan Mei, but if not, try using a Argenti/Clara if u have it. Also try to use a serval/Acheron for second part, depending on how well they’re build will determine if u have to run full support or have a sustainer. I personally ran a Huo Huo, Himeko, Ruan mei, and Robin comp (mostly b/c I also didn’t build my Himeko, and that was a better option.) And for 2nd, a Acheron, Pela, bronya and sparkle hypercarry. (I have no DOT besides pela ;-;) And in the end, barely clutched 60k, but my teams were a mess, my Himeko was running lvl 8 traces, and everything was running around lvl 70 LCs. It’s def possible without DOT, but it’s a pain, and Acheron especially is a pain this PF, since she does either too much dmg, and cannot proc fast enough, or too little and cannot proc fast enough :/ Either way, hope this helps, and gl on your Pf runs!

I used a Himeko superbreak here with HMC, Ruan Mei and Gallagher. I got 30k then used Acheron, Sparkle, Silverwolf and Pela to get 60k. Hardest Pure Fiction yet due to having no dots built.

I thought Pure Fiction is for Erudition characters 💀 The only Nihility character I had built is Acheron, and she doesn't apply DoT. The only characters that I have that could apply DoT are my Lvl60 Sampo, Lvl60 Asta, Lvl50 Serval, Lvl20 Luka, and my Lvl20 Hook. I don't have Guinaifen and she's pretty much the best 4 star DoT character. It's probably too late for me to start building these characters now🗿

My Himiko team was similar but I used Aventurine sustain amd HTB (only E2 sadly) to full clear. Aventurine when built right actually helps a lot in finishing those low HP enemies that just barely survived Himiko's follow up. Also keep in mind Himiko does more damage to burned enemies. One of the buffs lets all the burns instantly transfer.

Well i have nothing better to use, so i just use something that could revive as a safety net. The other choice is Lynx, but cleanse only removes 1 layer of debuffs and you’d still take a lot of damage.

I have only 3 ice characters: March,Yanqing and Herta. I was told to not build herta because she's weak, to not build Yanqing and march was a bad support. Now I only have an average built March and Yanqing and a lv 40 herta with no resources. I've tried to find videos explaining how tonfarm more exp books but I found nothing really worthed...

Herta is good for pure fiction, and March is decent if you build her correctly. There’s no real fast way to farm resource, it takes time. Just play the main and side quest or events if you haven’t done all of them.

honestly i think the thing that make DOT Pure Fiction so aids is that all the enemy's get an Action Forward all the time. if they didnt and you actually got normalish turns it wouldnt be so bad. but for me the fact that all the enemy's get like 10 turns before i can even get 1 with most of my units is what really makes me dislike this pure Fiction. more so when some of your best sustain units are units like Adventure who attacks to reup shields or someone like Gallagher/ HouHou who only heal people on there turns

My very funny comp that works surprisingly well on first half was, Herta, Ruan Mei, Blade, Fu Xuan. The dot elite and general action forward of enemies triggers blade's FuA so much it's actually not even a joke. A trotter escaped giving me 38.5k. Second half is scuffed typical acheron team and barely got me enough for 60k I've yet to find any video trying Blade on first half, hope to find one though.

You can still win, but it’s a lot harder. At least MoC didn’t punish you this hard if you don’t use the buffs. In pure fiction you have to utilize the buff, or pull for PF centric characters like Argenti to make it less insufferable.

My team was Himeko Aventurine Asta Ruanmei Blade Bronya Robin Fuxuan The first was kinda easy (so ez to break the enemies weaknesses lol) But the second was pain I only manage to get 2 star with 54k point. Maybe I'll try again hope get some luck Edit: hell yeah lets go!!🔥🔥 Finally i did, i manage to get 60k The key was Robin swap to Ruan Mei, i just realized that Blade not really need atk buffer. 🤣 Also the synergy of Robin and Asta kinda good too.

Just an advice. DDD is not for slow support, it was meant for speedy support to keep advancing your whole team. Putting it on slow RM would make it useless. Try using it on speedy TingYun or Sparkle.

You are correct, but what my Ruanmei uses is actually my second set of DDD, Tingyun have the other one(S5), and my Sparkle is using her Sig LC. Either i uses cogs, MoTP, or my spare DDD on her. Since cogs wouldn’t do much on her, and my MoTP is on HMC, DDD is my only choice really.

Gallagher works very well with him, as he is a good healer with a lot of break efficiency, if can lower enemy shields for Boothill The best teamset for BH are probably; Ruan Mei, Boothill, Gallagher and Bronya at the moment, but you can use Aventurine instead of Gallagher if you want (only if he's dying a lot), or other healers such as Huohuo/Luocha (but Gallagher is still the better option) Bronya and Ruan Mei can be replaced with HMC and Pela if you don't have them Idk why i yapped all of this to you, i guess for the other people that are passing by? 😭👍🏻

I only have Sampo & Luka as a "DOT Nihility dps" for this PF ( my *Sampo is E6* while *Luka is E1* in my account. ) while the rest is "Debuffer Nihility" like *E2 SW, E0 Welt, & E3 Pela.* So I guess im just gonna skip this PF & waiting for the new patch one on 2.3. Because DOT Team is not my favorite in HSR & I'm very poor at playing them.

Luka is really good too on the first half btw, sampo is good on the second half. Pick the blessing that spreads DoT damage if the enemy died, and Luka could do AoE bleed break damage for this Pure Fiction. Build Luka full break effect, and try to break the elite with Luka since bleed DoT scale with enemy with high toughness bar.

Most precisely why i don’t like it. PF is extremely easy if you have someone that’s able to utilize the buff, but extremely hard if you don’t. It’s a boring character check imo.

I never take damage from PF enemies. They do practically nothing to me. I've also only seen Past, Present, and Future do anything in videos since they always die long before they get to exist for me lol
