I HATE the '08s (2008 IC CE300 School Bus W/ DT466E; Front Seat Ride)

Of course I'm a huge IC fan, but I'm still willing to admit that I absolutely hate driving the '08 models we have mainly because of the specs that they were ordered with. They are very rough riders as they don't have air ride in the back and on our roads that's a no bueno, the driver seats are awful (Seats inc.), I hate the mirror set up, and they just overall aren't the best buses.

Yes. This has no air ride whatsoever and it basically shakes the bus to pieces. Leaf springs have their place but do not belong on school buses.

It did have decent power but that doesn’t matter when you’re going slower to try to soften the blow of bumps.

Yes it does. It doesn’t help that it has to drive on rough roads. Oddly enough many of my district’s older CEs don’t have air ride yet don’t seem like they’re going to fall apart. They’ll shake you up for sure.

I’ve never been on a CE where I felt like it would fall apart at any second. And I’ve been on CEs without air ride suspension.

I prefer air ride, it makes the ride so much smoother. 3753 had air ride and it rode very well on the bumpy roads.

@@Yo_tyreekthey have sh*t quality, rattle, ride rough in any configuration, have fuel sense on from factory on the Cummins making them accelerate slower than the competitors and are extremely ugly.
