The xrp ledger also got a strong community and has projects for memecoins, nfts etc. Its not controlled by banks although because of the speed and low cost of the xrp ledger its very usefull to use in (large) payments

I hate the banks too, and do not like what xrp stand for. But i'm new to crypto!
