If you want to challenge yourself even further with this mission, there's an additional AC fight. When you start this mission, instead of going for all the MTs towards the city, just go to your right and head real far out towards the pillars. You might just find a combat log out there... But yeah, this mission could use a checkpoint.

Right?! Everything else so far has, it's weird that this one doesn't for a mini boss fight! Also, thanks for the note! I'll probably check it out if I have the chance to play a second playthrough on Armored Core!

Pulse guns also work well enough at breaking the HC shield, and vertical plasmas can kill every mt in 1 shot

Yeeeees. This was far and away the hardest mission for me on my first playthrough. It wasn't that bad to S rank, after I had almost 100 hours, compared to some of the others, but on my first playthrough it was THE WORST.

its not the worst... honestly I'm not sure why people dont use the simple MT killers but for this mission and intercept the red guns the Rensetsu-RFs are good the worst would be coral export denial but you can only use melee

Funny, I thought coral export was about normal. Intercept the redguns, however, took me foreeeeever! Toughest mission in the game for me....

I just really like the rail guns! And haven’t found a faster armor to carry two and missiles!

Its a tough mission for some builds But do you have a vendetta against the Lock-on feature or something?

This HC in particular is a ball ache for some weird reason. All the other ones get deleted, but this guy is a boss in his own right. Just re did the mission to clap that AC to the right one guy was talking about, pieced him up no problem, then when the 2 LC's came in, I ONE SHOT THEM BOTH AT THE SAME TIME WITH THE PILE BUNKER. After that, got to the HC and clapped him on under a minute, basically 2 shot PB. I dont know man, sometimes the skill is just there.

First Death, had 3 repair kits remaining, Second Death, 3 assault armor charges remaining For all other deaths, you had zero intention to change your build, trying to brute force it on skill alone, but you are clearly lacking that one part This is arguably one of the easiest missions in the game

This mission really isn’t hard at all, is there a reason you were barely healing or using your expansion? Also maybe a light build and a little dodging would help you out

I didn’t play for two weeks and then started playing so the controls got the best of me when this was my first mission back! 😂😂😂 Although just the starting over part of this mission, was just the worst part of it! For builds I really like the rail guns, but can’t find a fast enough armor for it so still looking!
