The idea for this series is fantastic, it creates a severe limitation that is unique for every play-through, and doesn't completely cripple account progression. I love it. Hope to see more people's playthrough's on this mode too.

You're going to have to clue scroll grind on this account pretty hard. I recommend juggling clues with completable steps. But even easy clues have like 40 items for unlocks. Also, if you don't unlock a spade by easter, if you do the easter event in 2025, you can then buy an Eastfloor spade from Diango, which is an untradeable spade usable only with treasure trails.

i was wiki-trawling the other day and found out about the easter spade. i had no idea! there is a god. and yes, the clue grind is inevitable. i did know about juggling from settled/purespam but figured it was not worth it early on as i would have a hard time getting a good # of clues without better combats and would also have a horrible time completing them with such poor mobility/no run restoration. decided to just send them on the off-chance

A note about the broken barrows items: If you do happen to get to the point where you can do Barrows (you've got an air staff, you're halfway there!). If you get an item that you only have the broken form unlocked, you can die with it, which will break it, and then you can sell it. Not the greatest feeling, but at least it isnt worthless.

If this mode had like ”you can use axes up to adamant” or something like that for skills it would be dope. Just to get you a semi decent but not great option. Could be for variety for stuff, or just skills related, so once you unlock woodcutting, you get ton of unlocks just by skilling that skill. OK OK OK, Jagex released something potentially huge for this account. There is a Nest that lets you exchange items for other items added in the new Aldarin Windmill in Varlamore. Kriibus just released a video, 11 minutes of fun facts you might not know, that talks about it 10 minutes in. The items you get out are hardcoded in based on what you put into the nest (and then world hop and click on the nest again), but it could probably get this account a TON of unlocks.

Pro tip: you can get a Watering can (8) from a farmer, which is untradeable. You don't need anything else, other than the bagged plant, in order to get construction experience then. This means the bagged daffodils just unlocked you construction. It's terrible construction, but construction nonetheless.

Ok so, regarding barrows equipment 0. You get Torag Hammers as a drop, it unlocks marinated jogre bones or something. So you have to drop the hammers. Which breaks them and they're 0 now. So you can then pick them back up to sell?

There is a setting called "ammo picking behavior" that auto equips ammo if it is the same type as what is currently in your ammo slot. Should make picking up darts more convenient going forward.
